A Beautiful Debut – Nazanin
Nazanin’s graceful and enticing sound will get personal to listeners and expose them to their own emotions. Her own personal touch is unique to most catalogues, and defies any rigid classification of genres.
Nazanin’s sensually moving “Red Light,” gives her a unique appeal among urban singer-songwriters, and a solid base to anticipate a bright future in the music scene.
NYC-based singer-songwriter Nazanin announces the imminent release of her latest single, “Red Light,” a compelling fusion of sexy pop and contemporary R&B.
“Red Light” sees Nazanin talking about needing to end things with someone she is very attracted to but is toxic for her. Inspired by her personal experience, about a guy she was seeing briefly who also taught her about the music business, she created a magnificent single.
Inspired by artists including Selena Quintanilla, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Claudio, Snoh Aalegra, Beyonce, Madison Beer, Lana Del Rey, Celine Dion, Rihanna, Nazanin uses all these influences to form her own signature sound. Her music is certainly in a category of its own. Her most recent work includes the beautiful debut single and music video titled “Infatuation,” released in 2020. There is so much more to come from her unique sound.
An artist that needs to be heard in 2021, Nazanin is the ultimate pop-r&b artist. She captivates while imagining spaces with her timeless lyrics and jazzy tone. She writes and performs any genre she likes without setting any boundary, relying on her emotions and intuitions.
Nazanin found out she could sing at 6 years old. Her voice sounded very mature at her young age. She fell in love with music, singing, and performing. From a young age, she also had natural stage confidence no matter how big the crowd. Despite never being supported by her family to become a singer or an artist, music is all she’s ever wanted to do with her life, and her biggest dream. She grew up in a very conservative Persian-Jewish town on the North Shore of Long Island, New York (Great Neck) – it’s a small town 30 minutes away by train from Manhattan. Her parents immigrated from Iran due to the Iranian Revolution of 1979 where Jews were being persecuted.

Heavy F*cking Metal from Finland – Oceanhoarse
Oceanhoarse premieres brand new song and signs worldwide record deal with Noble Demon!
Oceanhoarse, the four-piece heavy metal outfit from Helsinki, Finland, has been operating a couple of years with a relentless self-made attitude releasing a bunch of singles, an EP “Voluntary Bends” in 2019 and a live album “The Damage is Done – LIVE!” in 2020. The year 2021 sees the band moving up a gear with the German label Noble Demon. The brand new single “One with the Gun” displays the band’s love for vocal harmonies and crushing riffs accompanied with a strong message.
"’One with the Gun’ is about the twisted power trip some people seem to be on once they get a piece. There are constantly horrific news about the consequences of that ”I am the law” attitude happening all over the world way too often. So the statement the song makes is clearly really anti-violent even though the title sounds pretty menacing when you first look at it", bass player Jyri Helko comments and continues: "We are really thrilled to start working with Noble Demon! The German label is a new player in the game, but the people behind it have a strong background in the industry and they’ve already managed to build quite an impressive roster around the up-and-coming acts like Mercury Circle and the newly activated Dawn of Solace. We are currently starting the recordings of our first full-length studio album scheduled to be released this fall, so get ready for some Heavy F*cking Metal from Finland!"
The yet untitled debut studio album is scheduled to be released in August 2021 via Noble Demon. Having played shows all the way from Tokyo with Beast in Black to Central Europe supporting former Nightwish singer-bassist Marko Hietala, the band’s reputation as a strong live act can be witnessed with these domestic shows booked later this year (dates may be subject to change):
May 14th Telakka, Helsinki FIN
Aug 13th-14th North of Hell Festival, Oulu FIN

ZZ Is Top – ZOE ZOBRIST
ZOE ZOBRIST RELEASES NEW SINGLE “FADE AWAY”
PREMIERED ON FLAUNT.
“Fade Away” is both an exercise in self-forgiveness and an acceptance of unresolved trauma. “It’s about growing pains and healing as you work your way to and from different chapters in your life,” Zobrist writes.“It’s about looking towards something better while also embracing the process that it takes to get there.” Zobrist’s dusty vocals and stripped-back acoustic guitar guide the track with a raw intimacy that immediately envelops the listener into her thoughts in a way that feels like a peek inside her diary. In keeping with her 2020 singles, “Fire,” “Who You Gonna Be,” and “All My Friends Are Dead,” “Fade Away” is another defiant, deliberate, and deeply personal addition to her fast-growing repertoire.
Zoe Zobrist
Hailing from Dallas, Texas and now living in Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Zoe Zobrist crafts songs that are as personal as they are dynamic. Like many of her contemporaries, her love affair with music began at an early age. She was just 5 years old when she learned to play piano and she began writing songs only 2 years later. But her passion was fully ignited when she stumbled upon her father’s 70s-era record collection in the garage of her childhood home and fell in love with the hard-hitting choruses and memorable melodies of classic rock.
She debuted her first single in 2018 and has since gone on to rack up over 40K monthly listeners and praise from publications like Under The Radar Magazine and Culture Collide. She has also performed and toured across North America, gracing the stages of iconic music venues like The Viper Room, The Troubadour, and Dallas Fort Worth’s Six Flags Amphitheater. In 2019, she was featured in John Mellencamp’s tour documentary that played on-screen during his “John Mellencamp Show” North American Tour.
Zobrist has spent the past few years refining her sound and experimenting with different styles, ultimately leading to her unique blend of classic rock inspired indie music.

Breaking Up Is Hard To Do – CAPPA
Pop darling CAPPA is releasing her new single, “Colder,” the second single from her forthcoming 2021 EP.
“Colder” is a testament to CAPPA’s knack for creating catchy yet clever pop numbers. It’s an instantly infectious track tethered by snappy pop grooves, sparkly synths, and CAPPA’s honeyed vocals. “I wrote this song about when you’re going through a breakup and trying to replace the person but nothing quite feels the same,” CAPPA explains of the inspiration behind the track. “You want to feel a warm body next to you but it never feels quite like it did with the person you were in love with.”
Since her 2015 breakout, “Hush,” which premiered on SPIN and was later featured in a Victoria Secret ad, CAPPA has released two EPs – ‘CAPPA‘ & ‘Queen of Hearts‘ – and a steady stream of effervescent singles. Over the years, CAPPA has been championed by key tastemakers like NYLON, Glamour, Entertainment Weekly, and Billboard. Her songs can also be heard on hit TV shows like Riverdale, Selling Sunset, and Siesta Keys, as well as in commercials for Lady Gaga’s HAUS Laboratories and Under Armour.
Originally hailing from Philadelphia, CAPPA first landed in Nashville and quickly became synonymous with the emerging pop scene there. Buoyed by her success in Nashville, CAPPA made the leap to Los Angeles a few years back and has continued to expand her resume as an artist, songwriter, and vocalist. Well-known for her hypnotic vocal stylings, CAPPA has featured on tracks for major electronic acts like SNBRN, Dirty Audio Justin Caruso, and TELYKast, and curated an exclusive vocal sample pack for SPLICE.

A Sense Of Hope – OLIVIA LANE
Following a world exclusive first play from Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2 (25/2), singer-songwriter and multifaceted artist Olivia Lane has shared ‘I LET THE DEVIL IN,’ the first of a series of tracks leading up to the summer release of forthcoming new album HEART CHANGE.
Many fans already know Lane from her appearance on NBC’s “Songland,” as host of her Living Instead podcast, as the TikTok influencer with almost 2.5 Million post likes, by the songs that have earned her recognition as one of Nashville’s top new female artists, or from the highly lauded entrepreneurial spirit that led to the launch of her own publishing venture Liv Write Play Music.
OLIVIA LANE
We’re all broken, so let’s just do the best we can.
There’s no denying the young artist’s impressive accomplishments, but her new album HEART CHANGE heralds the arrival of an Olivia Lane her fans have yet to experience.
“‘I LET THE DEVIL IN’ explores how easy it is to open the door to the thoughts that can sabotage even the strongest of us. It’s a cautionary tale,” she explains. “We all have those thoughts that live rent free in our minds and hearts. I hope this song shines a light on how we all can live a better life by choosing to not believe the lies we sometimes tell ourselves.”
A Houston native, Lane spent time in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Southern California before settling in Nashville in 2013. Her sweet, soulful voice and insightful songwriting helped Lane earn an enthusiastic following, but all her hard work came to a screeching halt in 2017 when stress and anxiety caused her to lose her voice.
“Honestly, I was just so tired of carrying the weight of feeling like I was in control of everything,” she says. “It was just too much for me to bear being in control of my career. Being in control of so many outside factors was weighing me down so much and it infiltrated my whole life. I started to over think everything because that’s what you do when you are trying to strive for perfection and over singing, overcompensating, over sharing my feelings. Ironically I just got to this place where I felt very out of control striving to be in control and I just had to let go. It was letting go emotions in therapy, letting go of my voice in my vocal lessons, letting go of a toxic relationship, which I did during that time, and also letting go of control of my life. That led me to Jesus.”
During therapy, Lane’s therapist taught her that each life is made up of four spheres—spiritual, emotional, physical and logical. “Ideally you want all four of those balanced,” she says but admits she was caught off guard when her therapist asked about her spiritual life. “My spiritual was basically nonexistent. She said, ‘If you want more, you need to figure out what your connection is to the world. What is your purpose? What are you doing here? I was like, ‘That doesn’t sound fun. I don’t want to do that,’ but she gave me a couple of books and she gave me all the options from Buddhism to Christianity. I read this book by John Eldredge called ‘Walking With God’ and it was just so unbelievably clear to me that Jesus was the path. I was an atheist. I was not looking for God, and my path just led me to that. It was like I’d been living in the dark and dust. That’s truly what it felt like. Once I knew there was all this on the outside, it was like this two or three year period of just crushing, changing, shaping and stripping away and ripping people out of my life who weren’t good for me. It was not an easier path, but it’s a path that makes more sense to me.”
‘I LET THE DEVIL IN’ is available to stream/download now. HEART CHANGE will be released this summer – more details to follow.
Lane herself has been through a heart change and wants to share what she’s learned. “It was recognizing that there were a lot of things I needed to change and now this project is owning those changes, what has come from those changes and what I’ve learned from those changes,” she says.
“My message is lean into those heart changes because there’s such greatness waiting on the other side, but you have to get there. You’ve got to walk through that door and make that choice and you have to own that heart change because that’s what leads you to your authentic self. I spent way too long not being my authentic self and it was destroying me. I mean physically and mentally it was destroying me and I had to say no more. I’m done.”
Lane’s music is so relatable and universal because everyone has experienced challenges. “We all have work to do. None of us are perfect,” Lane says. “We’re all broken, so let’s just do the best we can. Looking toward the future, Lane is excited about once again touring as soon as it’s safe to do so. In the wake of the pandemic, she plans to hit the road both in the U.S. and will head to Europe again where she’s developed a strong following. She is also working to grow her publishing company and telling her story through other artistic mediums. Though she’s a savvy businesswoman, at her essence Lane is a singer/songwriter and she’s excited for her audience to experience the songs on her new album. “I hope it will be a safe place to land for people right now who are in need of some heart medicine and some acknowledgement to take that next step to become their authentic self,” she smiles.
“So many people right now are searching for peace and hope and just a little bit of happiness, and it takes work to get there. It takes work to find peace. It takes work to maintain a sense of hope. It’s so easy to get consumed by fear and your own shame, and that’s not what we were designed to do. I just hope people are inspired to look into their deepest hearts and know that there is an option to heal their hearts and to have a heart change.”
Stone Cold Country – Kameron Marlowe
Sony/Columbia Nashville breakout artist Kameron Marlowe has shared his debut US country radio single “Sober as a Drunk,” taken from his self-titled EP, out now (listen here). To celebrate, Marlowe released a live performance video of the “bar room heartbroken stomper” (MusicRow).
The track follows his breakthrough hit “Giving You Up,” which has over 30 million streams on Spotify, and 17 million views for the official music video.
Marlowe has quickly made a name for himself as the next big thing in country music, named as an artist to watch in 2021 by Amazon Music, Pandora, Spotify, Sounds Like Nashville, Country Now, NY Country Swag, Everything Nash, and many more. The buzzed-about singer/songwriter released his debut EP in 2020 to critical acclaim, with Billboard celebrating the “solid six-track collection” that “show[s] his promise as a songwriter” and Country Insider affirming the project “reveals a musical maturity and expertise beyond his 23 years.” MusicRow declares “This kind of vocal conviction is what makes a star… I am more convinced than ever that this boy has what it takes.”
They say Nashville is a 10-year town, but it only took Kameron Marlowe seven months to launch himself from struggling singer-songwriter and into the spotlight.
Marlowe found success with his independent debut release, “Giving You Up” – a heartbreak anthem that has topped more than 30 million streams and counting. It’s the first song Marlowe finished writing and it came with a personal price. The singer was 20 years old and planning to propose when his would-be fiancée dumped him for someone else. To get his feelings out, he picked up a pen.
“I had things I wanted to say,” Marlowe said. “I started writing and over the course of several weeks, it turned into a song that means something to me and honestly, helped me through a hard time.
Born in the small town of Kannapolis, North Carolina, Kameron sold car parts at General Motors for a living before he got a call that changed his life forever. A recruiter from NBC’s The Voice found performance videos of Marlowe on YouTube and reached out with an offer to take him straight to the series’ live auditions. The offer was too good to pass up.
While he didn’t win, Marlowe said “The Voice” is responsible for getting him to Nashville. Some of his cast-mates were songwriters from Music City. He had dabbled in songwriting at home, but the concept of doing it professionally was foreign. When his new friends explained the collaborative nature of Nashville’s creative community, everything clicked into place.
“I knew that was just exactly where I wanted to be career-wise,” Marlowe said. “But I just didn’t understand how to do it.”
After The Voice ended, he began to make the 13-hour round-trip drive to Nashville multiple times a week to write songs. He soon decided the drive was too much, found some roommates and moved to Music City.
Influenced by artists ranging from Brooks & Dunn and George Strait to Travis Tritt and Ray Charles, Marlowe’s sound is a culmination of his life-long love of country music. His first memories include riding around in his grandpa’s truck listening to Garth Brooks and Darius Rucker. But he didn’t realise he could sing until he was a teenager. Marlowe played snare drum in his high school’s marching band for two years before he decided the experience wasn’t for him. A praise and worship leader who found joy in performing, Marlowe approached the music teacher about starting an unstructured class he dubbed “Rock Band.” Ten students formed two five-piece bands. They learned 10-to-20 cover songs a year and then performed them in a small club.
Now his goals are much higher.
“I want to sell out a stadium just one time,” Marlowe said. “It’s always been a dream of mine. I never thought in a million years I could do this for a job. I thought I would move here for 10 years and then go back home and sell car parts, but it’s happening!”
Sign Of The Times – SG Lewis
London-based singer, producer and songwriter SG Lewis today releases the official video for “One More (feat. Nile Rodgers)”, the latest single to be taken from his critically-acclaimed debut album times, out now via Republic Records.
The album release was celebrated last Friday with an exclusive live streamed performance of the record – rewatch the live performance of “One More” HERE.
For his debut album, SG Lewis (real name Sam Lewis) has enlisted a blockbuster collection of guests, continuing a long line of stellar collaborations that have singled him out as one of music’s most sought after producers. Joining Robyn and Channel Tres (“Impact”) on times is Lucky Daye, who appears on “Feed the Fire” which Billboard lauded as “effervescent” and a “breezy amalgamation of house and nu-disco,” with Entertainment Weekly bluntly labeling it “a disco-tinged banger,” as well as collaborations with Rhye, Frances and Lastlings, whose contributions are destined-to-be future dancefloor staples. Also appearing on the album, the latest single, “One More” featuring the legendary Nile Rodgers which The New York Times calls “a dance party” with V Magazine hailing it as “slick and effortlessly cool.”
Speaking about this iconic collaboration, Nile Rodgers reveals, “SG and I have been working together at my home away from home, Abbey Road, for a couple of years now. I love how effortless and cool this song is. The awesome Julian Bunetta and John Ryan wrote on this with us and killed it!” Sam adds, “One More was the first song I wrote for this record in LA, and one that set me on the path to making this whole album. Working with Nile Rodgers was an experience which will stay with me for the rest of my life. To have someone who has influenced not only this album, but my entire career play on this song is mind blowing.”
The album – markedly stylized in lowercase – arrives after a year when ‘times’ have been few and far between, especially in contrast to a huge 2019 which saw him sell out headline shows across the US, Asia, Australia and Europe as well as appearing at prime slots from Coachella to Glastonbury. It was a string of live experiences that cemented his status as not just one of London’s hottest talents but also a formidable artist capable of making a splash on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
On the album, Sam says “times is an ode to the present moment. 2020 has shown us that the experiences we took for granted in the past, are never promised tomorrow, and that the opportunity to dance together may not always be there again. After reading about 70’s New York and the birth of Disco, I became infatuated with the euphoria and escapism that the music from that period created, and the safe spaces the clubs at the time provided for people to express themselves. I aimed to create a world musically that captured those same feelings, and to imagine the music that would be playing in those rooms if they were to exist today.”
times is his first collection of songs since the three-chapter concept EP Dusk, Dark, Dawn, which featured Clairo, T.E.E.D.,AlunaGeorge and Ruel and served as a tribute to club and youth culture, chronicling the trajectory of a night out through its different moods and genres.
Sam has recently collaborated with Aluna, Victoria Monet, Raye, Ray BLK, The Neptunes/N.E.R.D’s Chad Hugo, Gerd Janson, Conducta and more as well as producing ‘Hallucinate’ on Dua Lipa’s record-smashing album Future Nostalgia and Dave’s ‘100M’s’, proving his worth as one of the most respected and prolific musicians in the world. Sam’s ever-growing catalogue both as a collaborator and solo work showcases his abilities as an artist capable of working beyond the limits of genre and style with times ready to send his star into the stratosphere in 2021.
