A Dark Addiction – SUFFOCATE FOR FUCK SAKE
SUFFOCATE FOR FUCK SAKE premiere second single from upcoming album!
April 16th 2021 will see Swedish Post Metal act Suffocate For Fuck Sake release their highly anticipated full-length album, titled “Fyra”, via Moment Of Collapse Records. Following their critically acclaimed 2017 record, “In My Blood”, the septet is a true master of their craft and creates and incredible depressing and daunting atmosphere, that feels absolutely emotional and authentic. Today Suffocate For Fuck Sake unleashed “15 Missed Calls”, the second single taken from the band’s upcoming album. |
Next to their dark, nihilistic sound a trademark of the band was always the added swedish samples (taken from interviews and podcasts). On “Fyra” the samples deal with addiction shown in four different shapes that also mark the different chapters of the album. |
"The second single from our upcoming album "Fyra" introduces the character Mikael, who suffers from a long drug addiction and lost the stable enviroment around him and also distances more and more from his family. This song features Arvid Ringborg from Vi Som Älskade Varandra Så Mycket as guest-vocalist." the band comments
Tracklist: 01. From the Window “Fyra” will be coming out April 16th on Moment Of Collapse and is available for pre-order at

Pulse-Pounding Rhythm – MADAME MAYHEM
MADAME MAYHEM released her new single “Cruel Heart” to all digital platforms! The single was co-written by Madame Mayhem and Keith Wallen (of Breaking Benjamin).
"This was one of the first songs Keith Wallen and I wrote together. I always have such a great experience co-writing with Keith. I remember listening to this demo on my way home after we finished writing and just getting so excited to share it. I have been patiently waiting for the right moment to release this single and I think now is as good a time as any! This song is near and dear to my heart and I am excited for the world to hear it!" says Madame Mayhem. She adds, "I performed this song live on tour a few times prior to recording it, which only makes this release even more special because of the excitement the crowds had for "Cruel Heart" hearing it for the first time as an unknown song. I remember having conversations with fans after the shows about how much they connected with it, which means so much to me! I hope the song continues to connect with people through this release."
Those who yearn for the electric catharsis of loud guitars, driving rhythms, hypnotic
hooks, and the strength of shared experience have a new muse in Madame Mayhem.
The Manhattan born singer/songwriter takes charge of her own anxiety, hurt, and alienation, crushing it with sheer force of will, then channeling the remaining ether into pulse-pounding anthems, instantly connecting with anyone who has struggled.
She has toured with Sevendust, Memphis May Fire, Fozzy, Nonpoint and Doro. Across three exceedingly well-received albums – Ready for Me (2017), Now You Know (2015), and White Noise (2012) –Madame Mayhem worked with Russ “Satchel” Parrish (Steel Panther), Corey Lowery (Seether), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses), and Troy McLawhorn (Evanescence) to name just a few. Her 2019 single “Broken” was co-written with Keith Wallen (Breaking Benjamin) and features her longtime friends and collaborators Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big)and Ray Luzier (Korn).
A New Dawn – DOMKRAFT
Swedish psychedelic doom-riffers DOMKRAFT have released the infectious and pounding first single “Dawn of Man” from their highly-anticipated forthcoming third full-length “Seeds”, which will hit stores on April 30.
DOMKRAFT comment: "The first single, 'Dawn of Man' from our forthcoming new album represents the sound of the physical rebuilding of human civilization", writes singer and bass player Martin Wegeland. "We need new places of worship, cleansed of fear, hate, and everything else that corrodes a society. The idea is a kind of modern pyramids, utopian 'audiodomes', and this song represents the construction phase of these. We went for a mechanical yet earthy feel, based on this rolling, neck-breaking drum beat that just keeps moving. It should feel like being in the middle of a crowd full of clenched fists wielding sledgehammers, unable to stand still. 'Seeds' was written specifically to be performed live, with all songs to not only be heard, but also felt. Since that is not really an option right now, we wanted to capture the multi-sensory experience of a live show in the most efficient way. With increased restrictions here in Sweden, we decided to record a practice space performance and then trip it out to channel the sensory overload that an ideal live experience provides. With this video, we wanted to fill the void somehow, but we can hardly wait until we're able to play in front of actual people again."
Tracklist
1. Seeds
2. Perpetuator
3. Into Orbit
4. Dawn of Man
5. Tremors
6. Krank Blekhet
7. Audiodome
Like a phoenix, DOMKRAFT rise from the ashes of their previous apocalyptic-themed albums with third full-length “Seeds”. The latest album from the titanic Swedish psychedelic riff-doom trio focuses on the idea of emerging from the ruins to start anew, building something different and better beyond the cataclysm.
In the midst of 2020’s summer heatwave, singer and bassist Martin Wegeland, guitarist Martin Widholm and drummer Anders Dahlgren headed west towards the Baltic Sea to Welfare Sounds Studio, which is located in an old wooden house on the outskirts of Gothenburg, Sweden. There, in a great live room with borrowed air conditioning, the Swedes sweated with studio heads Kalle Lilja and Per Stålberg for three days to nail down a new epic that feels raw and alive.
With due credit to the mixing wizardry of Karl Daniel Lidén (GREENLEAF, KATATONIA, LOWRIDER), DOMKRAFT‘s trademark heft is more prominent than ever, and the ambitious lyrical themes add context to the always-massive riffs and hypnotizing flow.
DOMKRAFT have built each element of “Seeds” from a neck-bobbing pulse. Swirling songs like ‘Audiodome’, ‘Dawn of Man’ and the title track are closed circuits in which titanic instrumental hooks feed lyrical concepts, then circle back to direct the elliptical psychedelia and sky-widening vocals.
Originally, DOMKRAFT bonded over a mutual love for SPACEMEN 3, MONSTER MAGNET, SLEEP, and HAWKWIND, to name but a few. Drawing from the heaviest of their combined influences, the trio from Stockholm crafted a sound that blends towering dirges, mind-bending psychedelia, and hypnotic minimalism, which is embodied by their monolithic 2016 debut album “The End of Electricity” and 2018 follow-up “Flood”.
Following the release of their first full-length, DOMKRAFT received invitations from and performed at prestigious festivals such as the Desertfests (BE and DE), Psycho Las Vegas (US), Blow Up (FI), Sonic Whip (NL), and many others.
With “Seeds”, DOMKRAFT have drawn a detailed map to a groove-driven heavy rock utopia, where humankind can evolve and unite. Better living through monolithic volume!

An Authentic Blend – Lainey Wilson
Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’ the hotly-anticipated album from buzzed-about newcomer and “one of Country music’s most promising young stars,” (Whiskey Riff), Lainey Wilson is available now.
The honesty-driven body of work is her first album as a signed artist and a statement of who Lainey Wilson is, what she believes in and the power of authenticity. In addition to being a lifelong custom for the Louisiana native, the album title serves as a wink to the candour that was infused in her songwriting process, as Wilson’s playful, clever, sassy, soulful, strong and unbridled nature is on full display throughout the project.
A testament to her talent and respect within the industry, right out of the gate, she landed her bucket list producer, the GRAMMY® Award-winning mastermind, Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, etc.) to amplify her signature Bell Bottom Country sound. Together they blend traditional Country with a funky, modern flare to bring her value and character-driven lyrics and stories to life—oftentimes empowering others with her own vulnerability and self-awareness.
“I hope people can listen to this record from top to bottom and feel understood, accepted and be inspired to be unapologetically themselves,” said Lainey Wilson. “I am humbled by the reaction this record has already received and excited to see where this body of work takes me!”
Wilson’s music is already taking her places—she’s performed on stages across the globe, but none more hallowed than the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage. Proving worthy of being named as “one to watch” and “must listen” by many (Spotify, Pandora, MusicRow, Rolling Stone, CMT, The Boot, Sounds Like Nashville, etc.), Lainey Wilson has been featured on the hit series Yellowstone three times and has earned a host of early critical praise for Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’.

Shaking Off The Grey – Brooke Eden
Singer and songwriter Brooke Eden premiered her vibrant new music video for “No Shade” yesterday via PopCulture, her first in four years. On screen, Eden radiantly exudes the confidence and self-love that she has earned since her previous releases.
Filmed and directed by Ford Fairchild, the video portrays Eden’s full-circle journey highlighting her previous bartending and performance gigs that led to her start in Nashville. The first of Eden’s trilogy of music and videos, “No Shade,” is out now. Watch HERE
“Filming the music video for ‘No Shade’ had me incredibly in my element.” says Eden. “I got to bring my Nashville creative team down to my hometown in sunny south Florida, right back to the bar that started it all. The tiki bar where the video takes place is actually the bar where I played shows that earned me the money to move to Nashville. It was a total full circle moment filming the first part of this three video story, in the city that gave me the confidence to chase this dream.”
With her versatile signature vocal swagger on full display, Eden shares this song as part one of her reintroduction. After four years of finding love and acceptance that inspired her music both sonically and lyrically, her three-part reintroduction was penned from the heart and all produced by Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Marshmello, Meghan Trainor, and more).
The new song “No Shade,” written with Steven Lee Olsen and Brandon Day, reintroduces Eden with a clever play on a break-up song. Though more than that, it’s the story of a woman rediscovering herself after spending years in a situation that stifled who she was and who she wanted to be. “Nobody going to steal my sunshine or turn my blue sky grey / All I know is at the end of the day wildflowers grow when there ain’t no shade,” Eden sings, and you can hear the two meanings at work in her powerhouse vocal.
Eden wrote the new music in the years since her 2016 release of Welcome to the Weekend amongst a season of profound personal and professional growth. Hear more about her journey HERE.
Since making her debut, Eden has shared stages with country’s biggest stars like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Sam Hunt, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, and Sugarland. Over the course of Eden’s career, she has amassed 37 Million total on-demand streams and is a proud member of CMT’s “Next Women of Country.” Previously named Vogue’s “10 Country ‘It’ Girls,” PEOPLE’s “Seven New Country Acts You Should Check Out,” and championed by Billboard as a “fiery country star-in-the-making, Eden has so much to share in 2021.
Lauded for her commanding stage presence and brassy straight-shooting style, vocal powerhouse Brooke Eden flaunts a sassy flare in her trio of new songs that vulnerably detail her journey to love. Championed by Billboard as a “fiery country star-in-the-making,” Eden pairs her honest songwriting with punchy tracks from producer Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Like, Little Big Town) to deliver her most authentic work yet. Coupled with a trilogy of music videos that illustrate Brooke’s own path towards self-acceptance, Eden confidently shares her romantic optimism and warmth, while sharing the joys of summer all year long.
Coming Of Age – Big Loser
Last April, Austin's own Big Loser released love you, barely living with indie label Black Numbers. The album showcased the bands ability to combine anthemic rock with hints of emo much like The Menzingers, Spanish Love Songs, and early The Gaslight Anthem.
While the album was only available on CD and digitally upon initial release, love you, barely living is going to be available on vinyl as of February 26th, 2021. The limited edition pressing is now available for pre-order here. To celebrate the vinyl release, Chase D. Spruiell teamed up with Sheilava to record two acoustic performances. “post-almost-overdose” appears on love you, barely living and the second performance is a cover of “I Love You” by Billie Eilish. Both videos are streaming now at Chorus.FM. Big Loser will also be holding a live acoustic set + giveaway on February 25th, 2021.

Rock On – Tommy Newport
Born in Manchester, England, Tommy Newport relocated to the United States with his family at six years old where he bounced around from Dallas to Seattle before settling down in Wichita, Kansas.
After picking up the guitar as a teenager to ease the boredom that comes with the idyllic, but monotonous life in the Midwest, Newport submerged himself into music and hasn’t looked back since.
The new six-track EP Ultra Mango is a product of Newport learning new things in life and being naive. A collection of bouncy, high fidelity songs, each track captures a unique moment. Songs like “Sweetener” and “Yellow Lines” are heavier and have darker tones in contrast with the title-track “Ultra Mango,” which is purely an upbeat dance track. Newport shares, “I love throwing curve balls on projects and not having each song sound similar.”
The artwork for Ultra Mango encapsulates that youthful thinking and it’s naivety with multiple blurry eyes and a mind that grows like fruit – colorful and beautiful. The quirky image complements the music’s themes of youth, inner-consciousness and dialogue, with a sprinkling of irony.
Newport takes inspiration from early 2000’s classic anthems and gives them his own modern day spin. Producer 4th Pyramid explains, “The idea here was to take that DIY basement nostalgia feel and make records that knock as hard as today’s biggest smashes. We’ve been able to carve out our own planet with Ultra Mango.”
Newport has earned notable early co-signs from the likes of BadBadNotGood and Giles Peterson. He has been featured in a variety of television shows, including HBO’s hit TV show Ballers, Netflix’s original series What/If, TBS’ popular TV show Search Party, Amy Schumer’s documentary Expecting Amy, as well as the hit TV show The Sinner. He has also scored the latest ad campaign for Apple’s iPad. The rising singer, songwriter and producer has been recognized for his infectious performance on the internationally renowned YouTube series COLORS, which has garnered over one million streams. Newport was handpicked by Sticky Fingers to support the sold-out North American leg of their tour in the spring of 2019 and has also headlined his own tours across the US and Europe.
