TWIN TEMPLE want to share our love with you all, and hope you take carnal delight in these!
For the video, we worked with our talented friend, Bobby Pook (Sumo Crucial Media). We’ve worked with him on previous videos and unsurprisingly, he astounded us all with the final result.
For those disturbed by a particular scene in the video, please keep watching until the end. Whatever you’re going through, there is always someone out there available to listen and help.
The websites listed at the end of the video are a few examples with links to international helplines. Asking for help is never a burden. You do not have to face this alone."
Isa Holliday (Slow Crush)
Slow Crush is a compelling and abrasive shoegaze band out of Belgium, dealing with the aesthetics of contrasting sounds. The vulnerable soft floating voice of Manchester, UK’s Isa Holliday underneath layers of grungy shoegaze soaked noisepop, has resonated with fans and music critics alike.
The band’s successful 2018 debut full-length “Aurora”, was released to much acclaim, selling 4000 physical copies, going into its 4th press. The album’s track “Glow” has racked up nearly 500,000 streams alone.
Slow Crush has been touring consistently throughout North America and Europe with over 180 shows played in 2019-2020, consistently selling-out shows on both continents, at venues such as LA’s The Echo, Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus and more.
The world has been in such a state of civil unrest," singer Taylor Momsen previously shared about the track. "'And So It Went' basically comes from that vision. As a songwriter, I feel like I'm not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me. This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and rip the sound waves apart with his guitar. It was more than a pleasure having him add his unique and defining sound to the song."
About working with the band, Tom Morello shares, “I got to perform with Taylor Momsen at the Chris Cornell memorial show. We rocked ‘Loud Love’ and she nailed it — no easy task. Thank goodness she and her band continue to fly the flag for rock ‘n’ roll in a mighty way.”
The Pretty Reckless will release their fourth album, Death By Rock And Roll, on February 12th via Century Media Records. Pre-order the album here: https://tpr.lnk.to/DeathByRockAndRoll
The album follows 2010’s Light Me Up, 2014’s Going To Hell, and 2016’s Who You Selling For. The first single and title track rocketed to No. 1 on the radio charts and held strong for several weeks. It marked the fifth No. 1 single of the band’s career and was heralded by Paper, Loudwire, CNN, Forbes , and more. The band also has the incredible and impressive distinction of being the first female-fronted band to have back-to-back No. 1 singles at the active rock format and the first female-fronted act to have five No. 1 singles on the Billboard charts.

Inspired by the profound mess of that notorious Turner Prize nominated masterwork, like its namesake “Tracey Emin’s Bed” is a commentary on self-image, public perceptions of appearance and mental health.
“It came from looking at the nature of art and worth, and comparing this to the mental health and self-image topics in the verses” says Marriott of the track, “the whole song is rife with juxtaposition and contradiction.”
Comprised of home footage shot on iPhones, the emotional new video takes fans through a series of personal moments over the last year, from surprising Ryan Michaels’ mom, Rita, with the news of their pregnancy (Shannon Haley’s mom, Sharyl, also features later in the video; both had to quarantine for two weeks before visiting the family) to the very first moments with their newborn baby, interspersed with behind-the-scenes studio clips from the recording process.
“We wanted the music video for ‘Born Yesterday’ to be as personal as the song is to us,” the couple explained. “This video is made up of the moments we captured on our iPhones during the pregnancy and shortly after our daughter was born. “We made it with our talented friend Andy Calmes over Zoom while we were holding our Keira Harmony in our arms, which was so special and surreal. We’re excited to invite everyone literally into our homes”.
Written and produced by Haley & Michaels, “Born Yesterday” has already been streamed over a quarter of a million times worldwide, and has been featured on major Spotify playlists including New Boots and Wild Country. Since its world exclusive first play on BBC Radio 2 in the UK, the duo have appeared on numerous other BBC radio stations and the track has been featured on their original hometown radio station KRTY in San Jose, CA.
Having built a reputation for sharing personal moments with listeners through their music, “Born Yesterday” isn’t the first time Haley & Michaels have kept their real life in the forefront; breakthrough hit “Giving It All (To You)” (40m+ streams to date) was inspired by their wedding vows, and the official music video included footage from their own wedding in May 2015, along with a performance filmed at the venue, Saratoga’s Mountain Winery.
Since then, their music has taken them all over the USA, with four appearances on NBC’s TODAY show; performances at the famous Grand Ole Opry and tour dates with the likes of Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Chris Young and Old Dominion; helped them forge a creative partnership with their original hometown team the San Francisco 49ers; and found new fans through TV & film placements including Netflix’s Walk. Ride. Rodeo, which featured their debut album’s title track ‘Hail Mary’. They’ve been named one of Rolling Stone’s Artists You Need To Know and have been featured in TIME, The New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today.
Directed by Justin Clough and shot in Nashville, TN, the clip shows Porter dating one dud after another time after time, with each love interest throughout the iconic eras becoming “just another one of (her) drinkin’ songs.” Sealed with a martini and an intoxicating hook, “Drinkin’ Songs” delivers with “impressive vocal chops” (Calgary Herald) that have fans “instantly obsessed” (Whiskey Riff).
With Nashville taking notice of her “authentic heart” (American Songwriter) as well as “her mesmerizing vocals and hook-driven songs” (Billboard), Porter was just inducted into CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2021, joining an elite sisterhood of trailblazers and tastemakers. Watch Porter take the stage performing “These Days” for their announcement celebration here.
Porter wrapped 2020 with the release of Drinkin’ Songs: The Collection, a 7-song assembly of over two years’ worth of new music that wrapped up a breakout chapter in anticipation of what’s next. This year, Porter will deliver more new music produced by Joey Moi, featuring her “girl-next-door vocals” that “cut like a blade” (Billboard).
Toward the end of last year, we went to Yosemite with our roommates and our good friend Dana to clear our heads and get away from the madness that is LA, even more so in a pandemic. After what felt like the shortest year ever once touring was shut down, it was a breath of fresh air (literally) to get out of the house again and to such a beautiful place, no less. On our last day we drove around Bass Lake and found a pull off with an amazing fall view. Still having an acoustic video to shoot, as well as Orie and Dana and their cameras, and an acoustic guitar, we figured what better way to immortalize the memory of that moment and trip than to shoot it there on the spot. We’re also very excited to launch our first new merchandise of 2021. We’ve been more hands-on than ever through every step of the process from production to fulfillment and hope that people will be as excited about these items as we are."

You really must check him out
Written by vocalist Anastasia Grace, along with producer Matt Good, known for expertly fusing genres, styles and moods for career-defining albums by Asking Alexandria, Hollywood Undead, and Sleeping with Sirens, “Wish You Stayed” swirls with an orchestral electronic panache before exploding with its climatic crescendo,
Anastasia recalls the session vividly, “Written and recorded in Phoenix, there were moments where I was beating myself up about my music. Flipping through a notebook, I came across lyrics I wrote a year prior about going on tour and leaving a relationship paused. The song is really about my 15 year old self thinking the person would be there or that they would care enough to wait for me; however, that didn’t happen.”
“As soon as I looked at the lyrics I felt peaceful again. It was the last song we recorded and was a defining moment because the experience wasn’t easy but I grew a lot from it and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I felt very proud of what we created.”
For the visual companion, the band linked with Chris Hill/Digital Cypher, once again, this time taking on the pandemic like a gale force storm, crafting a green screen fever dream that recreates life on the road, the ups, the downs, the van shenanigans and convenience store bathrooms.
Accompanying newly shot material, the music video includes concert footage, meet ’n greets and merch table hangs with fans in Prague, Paris, London, Manchester, Amsterdam, Pittsburgh, and Munich, while on tour with Palaye Royale.
“Wish You Stayed” is the fourth song released from Social Intercourse, with previous singles “Brag About,” “Constant,” and “Twisted Dream” featured on Spotify’s Fierce Femmes and New Noise playlists and in the pages of Bloody Disgusting, Wonderland, When The Horn Blows, American Songwriter, Icon Vs Icon, and others.
Tastemaker Alternative Press, who championed their “wicked alt-pop vibes,” have included the band in the return of their iconic ‘100 ARTISTS YOU NEED KNOW’ collection which hits newsstands (and online) in February.
The S. Florida quartet, which also includes Anastasia’s older brother Max (guitar/vox), bassist Natalie Smallish, and drummer Nick Lewert, continue to fill-in their non-touring regimen with a just-for-fun performance series of their favorite songs, recently adding an electrifying punk/goth rock resurrection of Billie Eilish’s “You Should See Me In A Crown.” The clip, which is archived on their IGTV, follows spirited takes on Paramore’s “Misery Business,” Royal Blood’s “Lights Out,” and Young The Giant’s “Mind Over Matter.”
With each successive chapter of Social Intercourse, the kingdom fortifies stronger, stands taller, for the continued assault on the pomposity of societal norms and the supposed death of rock n’ roll. It’s been away for a while, but its heart is always home. Brick by brick, The Haunt are primed to ascend the throne.
