Getting Buzy – Izzy T
Flaunting a fresh sound of foot-stomping Alt Pop/Rock, Izzy T brings a unique fusion of guitar melodies and electronic beats, driven by her cooly seductive yet fiercely powerful vocals.
Following the release of her viral rock cover of Miley Cyrus’s “Midnight Sky”, which garnered over 341.5K views, Izzy is unveiling her explosive new single “Nuclear.” Featuring UK rap artist Ben Hunter, the almighty alt-rock-pop fireball of energy combines electric, raucous sass in a mix of fearsome beats and muffled, gritty guitar. Screaming enough is enough, the mantra of this song sits on a tidal wave of frustration, narrating the darkside of a relationship and how people can become the furthest thing from who they really are. Izzy shares, “This song has really paved the way for my new sound as an artist. I love big crunchy guitars and stompy beats, and the freedom to go from low and creepy, to high as the clouds with my voice!” With an underlying theme of empowerment in dark times, Izzy provides a voice that we can cling on to, emphasizing that we can do whatever we put our minds to.
Izzy has already made her mark on iconic stages across the globe, including the Birmingham Barclaycard Arena (supporting Placebo), Nashville’s Tootsies, and LA’s Hotel Cafe. Press highlights include features in Billboard magazine, Earmilk, BBC interviews and iconic Pride main stage performances supporting Sandi Thom. The title track of her debut EP Sell Your Soul was chosen by Nick Donnelly for the soundtrack to the film “God Save The Queen”.
2020 garnered over 20 BBC plays of recent singles “MAD” and the mental health anthem, “Everybody Wants Something” – the latter raising money for the Hull & East Yorkshire MIND charity. This was followed by BIMM music academy “Women In Music” masterclass performances, and a secondary school tour. Izzy T is the female rock crossover that Britain has been missing for so long. A rescheduled UK tour, new single releases and an EP is set to follow for 2021, making it her biggest year yet. If you’re ready for an artist with something to say, keep it here…
Shadows On The Wall – NO:IR
NO:IR’s innate blend of rap and metal draws on an array of influences including emo, hip-hop and dark pop. This has resulted in a signature re-imagination of the Nu-Metal sound; Phantom due for release May 7th 2021, captures this perfectly.
Phantom Due for release May 7th
Since their debut in 2019, Bristol-based Nu-Metal five-piece NO:IR have evolved their sound from their hardcore roots to create a modern fusion from a host of genres. They take deep inspiration – and their name, from Film Noir, often characterised by cynicism, intricate plots and existential philosophy.
With four previous successful singles under their belt, the band have achieved more than 100,000 streams on Spotify. Their innate blend of rap and metal draws on an array of influences including emo, hip-hop and dark pop. This has resulted in a signature re-imagination of the Nu-Metal sound; their upcoming single Phantom due for release May 7th 2021, captures this perfectly.
Produced, Mixed and Mastered with Josh Gallop (Phoxjaw) at Stage 2 Studios in Bath, Phantom challenges and explores the honesty and authenticity around an artist’s image. Established artists show a diverse variety of personalities, with some being completely transparent about their feelings and life stories; and some being the opposite, creating new identities or writing about fictitious situations in order to seem more appealing or interesting.
“Phantom explores these ideas and reflects this back onto NO:IR,” explains lyricist Evvi Davies. “The song is intuitive about who NO:IR is, and comparing the honesty in our music to the persona we have created as a band. NO:IR isn’t five individuals but one personality, blending elements of the individuals into one character. The song questions our authenticity, and the lyrics directly reflect where we are as a band.”
The music video for Phantom portrays Plato’s ‘Allegory of the Cave’, with an emphasis being on the shadows and silhouettes created by the band. The video challenges their own honesty and authenticity within their music. Often, we can believe an artist is being honest, however they’re really depicting a story which appears true to the world but in reality are just casting shadows on the cave wall.
Phantom is taken from their upcoming EP Are We Really Alive? due for release later this year. Are We Really Alive? Is the premiere to NO:IR, illustrating a contemporary and dynamic revival of heavy music. Conveying themes of depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, distrust and unity, Are We Really Alive? shows the different musical aspects of their sound, through trap beats, heavy metal breakdowns and haunting melodies.
Phantom is due for release May 7th 2021 and will be available on all major platforms.

The Unbridled Forces Of Hell – EVILE
This Friday, April 30, 2021, will see British thrash metal heavy weights EVILE release their brand new studio album, entitled Hell Unleashed, via Napalm Records – the band’s first album in eight long years!
Since their formation in 2004, EVILE have been turning heads and taking names, delivering four pure thrash offerings blended with an uncompromising death metal assault. Hell Unleashed, the long-awaited successor to their 2013 release Skull, will make no exception – but this time, the album features a new exciting line-up formation of Ol Drake on vocals/guitars and new member Adam Smith of RipTide as rhythm guitarist.
The band has released a final single before the album drops – the thunderous new track “The Thing (1982)”! Intoxicating guitars build up to an unconditional, heavy storm of thrash metal: “The Thing (1982)” and its razor-sharp arrangement delivers another rousing aspect of EVILE’s new album. Bold cinematic influences merge with breakneck speed riffs and Ol Drake’s brute, unyielding vocals, highlighting EVILE’s potent musical expertise. Watch the brand new lyric video for “The Thing (1982)” here:
"The 3rd and final single from Hell Unleashed is not only based on my favourite movie of all time but it's a strong contender for my favourite song off the album. This track goes through so many cool changes, with frenetic vocals which mirror the subject matter, and we couldn't be prouder of not only this song, but the entire album it's featured on. Blast "The Thing" as loud as you can!"
EVILE vocalist/guitarist Ol Drake
Hell Unleashed is a raucous and masterful thrash metal attack! In just 41 minutes, the album unchains the unbridled forces of hell, catches some rousing demons of the past, and provides classical thrash metal with a contemporary yet hard-edged touch. The newly staffed four-piece strikes again on nine explosive tracks, leaving nothing but a hammering world of sound taken apart by thrash. Endangering guitar lines, which quickly build up to a furious thrash manifesto and attack the eardrum at breakneck speed, meet the merciless velocity EVILE are known and loved for.
Hell Unleashed was produced by Chris Clancy at Backstage Studios, UK, and will not only feature explosive guest backing vocals from actor, comedian and musicians Brian Posehn, but also include a cover song:
Ol Drake adds: "This is the first album EVILE have done to include a cover song in the tracklisting. I've been a big fan of death metal for a long time, and seeing as this album is on the more extreme side of thrash vocally and musically, we thought it was a perfect opportunity to cover Mortician's 'Zombie Apocalypse'. It has one of the greatest riffs in it! We're also very excited about the return of the legendary Michael Whelan (Sepultura, Obituary, Stephen King) as cover artist. He did the art for our second album and he's always a pleasure to work with."
EVILE is:
OL Drake – Vocals & Lead Guitar
Ben Carter – Drums
Joel Graham – Bass
Adam Smith – Rhythm Guitar
Tracklist:
1. Paralysed
2. Gore (feat. Brian Posehn)
3. Incarcerated
4. War of Attrition
5. Disorder
6. The Thing (1982)
7. Zombie Apocalypse
8. Control from Above
9. Hell Unleashed
Hell Unleashed, due out this Friday, April 30 on Napalm Records, will be available in LP Gatefold, CD Jewel Case and Digital formats. The limited 1LP Gatefold Deluxe Edition will also include an exclusive Artprint and band logo patch! Purchase your album copy now at THIS LOCATION!

A Soothing Fix – Sabriel
Sabriel (pronounced shä brē el), is a Las Vegas based singer, songwriter and producer whose goal is to explore vulnerability through her music. Her seductive neo-soul soaked sounds and unique, whimsical image are like nothing you’ve seen or heard before.
Her latest single “Fox in the Henhouse” narrates the feeling of betrayal caused by a seemingly trustworthy person. The fox finagles their way into the henhouse and bites before they are bitten. Sabriel confides, “I remember what I was feeling in my physical body when I wrote it. I was experiencing the sensation of butterflies in my stomach and it wouldn’t go away. My mind and heart were unaware, but my body was working to protect me from an emotionally harmful situation. That’s where the lyrics “I felt it in my stomach…” and “But these weren’t butterflies, they were warning signs…” came from.” Songwriting for Sabriel is almost an act of journaling, jotting down snapshots of lessons she has learnt along the way. “Fox in the Henhouse” is a reminder to recognize other people’s behavior and stay true to her own values and boundaries.
Rich in faint, throbbing synths, the sleek palette of sounds captures a rotating, slow beat and soothing, understated bass line that adds a glow of groove and soul. The track has a filtration of springing, bouncing pops that add a charismatic bleed over the song. Like a moment in time, the song seizes a thought process and the trailing emotions that follow.
“Fox in the Henhouse” is the first single off of Sabriel’s upcoming album, which will showcase a collection of reflections on her journey of self-identity and growth. Hoping to show a more vulnerable side and searching for more meaning and compassion in her new tunes, the album will be honest and raw, as she looks through new perspectives. Sabriel shares, “I want to achieve vulnerability through these songs, so that others can have a better understanding of their own experiences too.”
They Could Be Massive – Paradise Circus
Birmingham indie newcomers Paradise Circus have dropped the brand new video for their latest single ‘What A Way (Cheetah)’.
With sold out hometown shows behind them and a knack for euphoric, anthemic lyricism the track is Paradise Circus’ biggest release to date. ‘What A Way (Cheetah)’ took over a year to craft, with the band collaborating with industry greats including Justin Lyndley, engineer for Elvis Costello, and Matthew Cotterill to perfect the anthem. The result is an offering that feels completely fresh, mixing acoustic elements with thrashing drumbeats and unstoppable, dynamic vocals.
“The song is about the ‘cheater’ in a relationship,” tells vocalist David. “It was first written in my basement at 11:30pm, when I detuned my Dad’s guitar trying to find a cool chord. The chorus was written in about 7 minutes and Cal's guitar was done also in quick time. Written in 15 mins but took 2 years to complete.”
If You’ve Got It – Danko Jones
Danko Jones share new garage punk blitz, “Flaunt It” along with a lyric video. This is a fan-only single. Watch it HERE! The lyric video commemorates the band’s 25th Anniversary and comes off of their upcoming album Power Trio out August 27th via Mate In Germany.
The new track follows the lead single “I Want Out“, released mid-March. Currently the single has seen success as it hits Top 3 at German Rock Charts..
Album pre-orders are available HERE!
“Power Trio” sees Danko Jones delivering each engine-revving riff, soul-shaking stomp, and shout-it-loud hook with a sniper’s precision. It’s such a simple, self-evident title, but one loaded with significance, as it speaks to the special triangular alchemy Danko shares with his trusty bass-slinging accomplice JC and drummer Rich Knox. It also stakes out the band’s place on a storied lineage of three-piece titans Jimi Hendrix Experience, ZZ Top, Rush, Motörhead, Venom, Dinosaur Jr., and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, to name a few.
Album Pre-order: https://dankojonesmusic.lnk.to/PowerTrio
When you choose to start a power trio, you’re not simply forming a band, you’re entering a blood pact—a tacit acknowledgement that all three members need to carry their equal share of the weight lest the whole enterprise collapse. There’s nowhere to hide in a power trio—no second guitarist to cover your mistakes, no keyboard player to smooth things over, no horn section to distract the crowd. If you fuck up, the whole band fucks up. Everybody needs to be on their A-game at all times.
“Power Trio” follows the band’s electrifying, world charting album, “A Rock Supreme” released in 2019. It also sees the band once again tapping into the production prowess of Eric Ratz, who previously amped up the bone-breaking boogie of 2017’s full-throttle rocker “Wild Cat” and 2015’s bloodlusty “Fire Music”.

‘DEAR JOHN' CONCERT FOR WAR CHILD UK
In 2019, a career-long dream to bring together a variety of artists to celebrate the music, the legacy, and the birthday of Beatle legend John Lennon came true for Sepp Osley and his up-and-coming band Blurred Vision. Hosted virtually mid-lockdown, the event would not only be a celebration of the iconic cultural figure, but also a fundraiser for the charity War Child, an organisation personally and deeply close to Osley’s heart.
Born in war torn Iran in the mid 80’s, Sepp escaped the war gripped country of his birth with his family, beginning a tumultuous journey through the ancient lands, onto Europe and finally settling in Canada. With this clarity and artistic spark, the band Blurred Vision was formed with his brother and former bandmate. After a string of successes with his band, Sepp hosted the first ‘Dear John concert in 2019, in which musicians came together for a charity night celebrating Lennon, his musical impact, and the message of love he advocated. Fast forward to 2020, when the world was in lockdown. With no possibility of live music in sight, tours Sepp turned attention to the 2nd Annual ‘Dear John’ Concert and the situation created by the Covid19 pandemic brought about the idea to take the show to an online platform in the year where virtual concerts became the norm.
“I began reaching out to artists around the world who I respected and admired,” says Sepp. “Before I knew it, an unbelievable roster of artists had signed up and were going to be a part of the 80th birthday celebrations for our mutual hero and help us raise money for the charity so close to my heart.”
What started as a hopeful, yet incredibly daunting endeavour turned into one of the most exciting concert productions of the year. Now in 2021, the 2nd Annual concert event is being turned into a digital charity album release. Featuring artists such as Laura Jean Anderson, John Illsley of Dire Straits, Maxi Jazz, and Sepp’s own band Blurred Vision, the album serves an addictive amalgamation of talent, in which fans can listen to discover musicians worldwide, relive the unforgettable performances of the classic Beatles and Lennon tracks, and raise funds for War Child UK in the process. ‘Dear John – Concert For War Child UK’ is a snippet of history now in audio form, that will live on for years to come.
A Silver Lining – HONEY
Originally, Honey wasn’t conceived as a full band project. It was more of a solo project to serve as “therapy” for singer / guitarist, Jay Laughlin (Turning Point, Godspeed).
As Jay puts it, “I’ve been playing in bands non-stop since the 8th grade (1986). In 2017, I had a couple of back-to-back shitty situations which put me into a seriously dark depression. I thought maybe it was time to take a step back from playing in a band and book some studio time to make a record for myself… by myself.” These sessions would take Laughlin back to his roots — the heavy metal and hardcore music that first caught his ear and possessed him to pick up a guitar and write songs in the first place.
Towards the end of the recording sessions that became the self-released “Nightmare Come to Life” EP, it was clear that this project should become Laughlin’s next band. Jay explains, “The plan was to play everything myself, but as I was getting deeper into the recording process, I became more and more excited about how things were coming together. So, I decided to bring my friend and old bandmate, Chris Hunter in to play some lead guitar parts to complete the songs. He’s the best guitar player I’ve ever played with, and we were both struck by how much we liked the songs. So, we thought it’d be a great idea to find a drummer and a bass player so we could play these songs live.” Miles Ziskind (drums) was brought to Jay’s attention by his brother-in-law, who said, “I have a friend who’s an amazing metal drummer — you should get him for your band!” So, when the time came, Miles was the first and only drummer Jay reached out to. “Turns out my brother-in-law was absolutely right!” says Jay. Laughlin was introduced to Greg Karlowitsch (bass) by a mutual friend, “This is metal Greg, you two should start a band.” So, it was a no-brainer, Greg joined up too, and Honey (the “therapy” project) became a full band. As Jay puts it, “It seemed like it was meant to be. Miles and Greg blew me away the first time we jammed together.”
Fast-forward to early 2020. Honey is a proper band with an EP on the verge of release and live shows are booked, and then… well, we all know what happened next. The world shut down! Live music is gone for the foreseeable future. “The depression that inspired this project in the first-place kicked in all over again.” Jay laments. But there is a silver lining — Honey has since had the good fortune to sign a deal with New Jersey’s, HellMinded Records and are set to record a debut full-length album, which is scheduled for release in the early May of 2021. Jay and the band are excited for the future. Jay sums it up this way, “As much as 2020 has been doing its best to keep everything I love on hold, I couldn’t be more excited to make a record with this band at this time. Playing music that’s loud and fast with my friends will always be the best therapy!”
Jay Laughlin – Vocals/Guitar
Miles Ziskind – Drums
