Formed in 1968 by Jon Anderson and the late, and much-missed, Chris Squire, YES have been one of the most innovative, influential and best-loved bands in rock music history. Their 1970s albums The Yes Album, Fragile, Close to the Edge, Yessongs (a triple live album set), Tales From Topographic Oceans, Relayer and Going For The One were ground-breaking in musical style and content. Their music also became synonymous with artist Roger Dean whose distinctive YES logo design and artwork adorned the lavish gatefold presentation sleeves of many YES albums.
With sales of over 50 million records, the Grammy-award winning YES were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017 where they performed Roundabout from the album Fragile and the FM radio-friendly Owner Of A Lonely Heart from the 1985 album 90125. In 2021 YES released their 22nd Studio album, The Quest, produced by Steve Howe, which went to No.1 in the UK rock chart and entered the Official UK Album Chart at No. 20.
ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS – Coming Of Age
For ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS, making music has not only been a unifying force between them as a band of like-minded individuals, but also a proven mode of escape, into a soundscape marked by vibrancy and emotion.
The group’s journey until this point has seen them grow up on stages around Australia, their music arresting and speaking to music fans who yearn for that same sense of belonging and escapism..
Now, Eliza & The Delusionals have arrived at their most significant career point to date: their debut album. Now And Then is out today via Cooking Vinyl. To celebrate the release in the US, the band will be playing BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, CA on May 27.
The 12-track collection is Eliza & The Delusionals in their purest form. An album that reflects on youth and the formative years that have influenced the mid-20 somethings they are today, Now And Then is the perfect soundtrack to the band’s coming-of-age period.

6. HALLOWEEN
7. BED SONG
8. BED NOW (INTERLUDE)
9. GET A HOLD OF YOU
10. CIRCLES
11. ALL THE TIME
12. NOW AND THEN
Written by Eliza Klatt and Kurt Skuse with added writing credits coming courtesy of acclaimed songwriters/producers in Sarah Aarons (Zedd, The Rubens, Childish Gambino), John Hill (Cage The Elephant, Charli XCX, Lykke Li) and Keith Harris (Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas), Now And Then is a properly international effort. Sessions that took place between Australia’s East Coast and Los Angeles formed the sound of Now And Then: guitars and rhythms that feel fresh and contemporary while casting a nostalgic look back at the artists who brought similar ideas to prominence in the ‘90s and early ‘00s.
Recording took place between Airlock Studios, producer Konstantin Kersting’s studio (Tones And I, Mallrat, The Jungle Giants) and the home studio of Eliza and Kurt, with Eliza & The Delusionals being able to thrive as a unit throughout. It’s an organic strengthening of a dynamic you can hear right through the album: tracks like “Save Me,” “Bed Song,” “Halloween” and “Give You Everything” are immediate stand outs. ‘
Now And Then is also an album of resilience. Eliza & The Delusionals, like so many artists, faced huge losses throughout 2020. For the Australian group however, their axis was upended at a crucial time in their career. About to relocate to the United States to embark on a huge amount of touring and ultimately, putting roots down for themselves, the band instead found themselves in the studio, turning their emotions, thoughts and mental processes into creativity.
“This album really helped me get through a tough time in my life and I’m really glad I got to do it with Eliza. Between not being able to tour and also having to come back to Australia, this album and the whole process seemed like the only thing that mattered to us at the time. Even though it was an extremely hard place to live in, I’m happy to have gone through it and I hope people can hear even a little bit of what we tried to capture. It almost made a little world I could escape into and just write about things that have happened in either mine or Eliza’s life – almost like making a soundtrack to our past experiences. I suppose never having written an album before, it was a new experience and it honestly couldn’t have come at a better time for us.”
– Kurt Skuse, Eliza & The Delusionals
Featuring singles “Give You Everything,” “Nothing Yet,” “Save Me,” and “YOU,”Now And Then continues to flesh out the vivid alt-pop and indie rock vibes powered by irresistible hooks and songwriting as it twists and turns. The songwriting partnership between Eliza and Kurt became galvanized as the album came together, sparking further drive to establish a studio of their own and, for Kurt, follow his production aspirations.
With the added musicality of Tex Martin (drums) and Ruby Lee (bass) to complete the band, Eliza & The Delusionals have a band dynamic that rests strongly on a foundation of natural talent and trust in one another’s sonic style. It all makes for a fun listen, one that Eliza & The Delusionals are hoping fans will be able to connect with and find some solace in as well.
“I think this album was the best thing to come out of the pandemic for us. We had just dealt with a huge loss of all of our touring in America, and when we got back to Australia we both were feeling quite lost and sad. We took the opportunity to build a studio at home and bunker down and turn all of the feelings that we had been experiencing for the past two years into songs. It was a really nice way to cope with what we were going through, and also to deal with emotions and experiences that had happened in the past few years of our lives. I always feel lucky that I’m able to be in a band, and to be able to write music with my partner as well.” – Eliza Klatt, Eliza & The Delusionals
2021 was huge for Eliza & The Delusionals, with the release of their sophomore EP A STATE OF LIVING IN AN OBJECTIVE REALITY further propelling the band onto the radars of Australian and American industry tastemakers alike.
Capitalizing on the momentum the EP brought them, Eliza & The Delusionals hit the ground running, with a trio of successful single releases in “Save Me” (accruing over 1 million combined streams worldwide, 30+ editorial playlist spots and the cover of Spotify’s Front Left playlist), “YOU” and “Nothing Yet,” bolstering their presence in Australia and abroad, all the while demonstrating the potential of the album that was waiting in the wings. Renewed popularity and hunger for Eliza & The Delusionals in 2022 has resulted in a whopping combined stream count exceeding 2 million over the last six singles alone.
Now And Then continues to revitalise the momentum; a smart set of material that indicates where Eliza & The Delusionals have come from, and where they’re looking to head next.
Gabriele Pribetti – Love Is All You Reed
Gabriele Pribetti is a London-based Italian saxophonist and composer.
His 2020 debut EP, ‘Reeded Edge Vol 1’ and this brand new companion set have garnered praise from UK radio stations such as Jazz FM, Worldwide FM and Balaami, plus sites like Musicamacondo, Twistedsoul and Jazz Revelations. Several singles have also been included on Spotify playlists such as State Of Jazz and All New Jazz.
‘Reeded Edge’ is a conceptual work of which Pribetti explains: “I see the music like a coin: the beauty and perfection of tonality on one side, with the chaos and roughness of atonality on the other. I like to exist on the reeded edge.” Pribetti places himself on the grooved line that runs around the coin, balanced between these disparate worlds in order to harness their equal power.
‘Reeded Edge’ sees modern jazz harmony, polyrhythmic grooves and emotional classical melodies contrast with free jazz and post-tonal contemporary soundscapes, the two realms crashing and mingling like waves. The rounded sound of the double bass is juxtaposed with the thunder of the synth bass while the clean, soothing timbre of the flugelhorn converses with the dark and distorted tenor saxophone.
erforming alongside Pribetti on the EP are a quartet of renowned musicians comprised of trumpeter/flugelhorn player Graeme Flowers, drummer Joshua ‘MckNasty’ McKenzie, Tomasz Bura on piano and keyboards and Michele Montolli on double bass.
Positioned firmly within the current and ever-evolving London jazz scene, Pribetti launched the new EP with a well received set at Spicejazz Soho in central London on 18th May. “The energy in the room was something else, and the creativity and interplay with my musicians was off the charts!” he recalls. “I was also pleased to hear from non-musicians in the audience that they could easily connect with the music because of the variety in dynamics, styles and sounds. It was a special night!”
With a distinctly percussive approach to his instrument and compositions, Pribetti’s music combines his love of jazz and improvisation with an early classical upbringing, while leaving space for interplay and free spontaneous composition. He is a highly experienced international session musician and has collaborated frequently with a wide range of artists that include Stormzy, Wizkid, Stefflon Don, Jordan Rakei, Burna Boy, Skepta, General Levy, Zion Train, Kamaal Williams, Congo Natty and U-Roy.

Influential and highly regarded Orange County, CA metalcore giants BLEEDING THROUGH have made their awaited post-pandemic return with a fierce new single titled “Rage” via SharpTone Records.
Their first new music in 4 years, comes ahead of the band’s upcoming performances at So What?! Music Festival, Blue Ridge Rock Festival and Furness Fest.
Commenting on their anticipated return and the new single, founding vocalist Brandan Schieppati says:
“Screaming into a microphone and playing music with my friends after 20 plus years and after a pandemic seemed like an impossibility. Low and behold here we are creating music again.
Personally the last few years has been a total mental battle. This music is my weapon against doubt and depression.
The song ‘RAGE’ was created with the anger and frustration built up over the last few years. This song is us joining the fight to have music heal a struggling world.
‘RAGE’ is the sound of 20 plus years as a band and years of built up aggression. No bullshit. Straight up Bleeding Through.”

Destined for great achievement ever since their formation in 1999, BLEEDING THROUGH’s career has been a lengthy and star-studded one, dedicated to delivering a devastating, yet melodic and entrancing, infusion of metal and hardcore to fans worldwide. Sabrina Monique – Opening Up
Rising pop songstress Sabrina Monique has released her latest single, ‘Sideshow’ on the 20th of May via United World Records.
The single was mastered by Randy Merill (Katy Perry, Muse and Lorde)and follows the release of ‘More Than A Friend’ which was accompanied by an in studio video. The New York born and based singer was a contestant of American Idol 2020 and has received support from National publications Wonderland Magazine, Notion Magazine, CLASH Magazine, and American Songwriter.
While creating her own irresistible sound, the singer finds inspiration in the legendary works of Amy Winehouse, Dua Lipa, Joss Stone, Bebe Rexa, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Billie Eilish and Jojo. Sabrina Monique’s sound carries the same dynamic energy as Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande and Bebe Rexa.
Take a deep breath and allow your thoughts to run free with Sabrina Monique and her latest soaring single. ‘Sideshow’ rawly displays all of the emotional insecurities and concerns that can plague an unhealthy relationship, entwining them with elements of hope that are contrasted against bitter realism all highlighted by finely crafted vocals.
Sabrina Monique tells us about the creation of her single: “Sideshow is a song unlike anything I have written or put out before. A long time coming, this song is almost too personal to me, and I do not think I have opened up like this yet in my music journey. I spent longer than I’d like to admit writing and rewriting as I was on an emotional rollercoaster, and I’m excited for people to hear this vulnerable side of myself as well as my music.”
Julian Rose – Outside Of The Lines
Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Julian Rose makes his introduction with the release of his debut EP, ‘How Deep.’
Born into an entertainment dynasty — his parents both work in music video production and his late grandfather, Jerry Heller, was an instrumental figure in the rise of West Coast rap — and raised in Beverly Hills, Julian Rose (née Heller) has been immersed in the music industry from a young age.
. He started playing piano at the age of five and within a few years he had mastered guitar, bass and drums as well. As he got older, he was helping out in production offices and attending video sets after school. With a genuine curiosity and a love of connecting with other people, Julian was able to meet and talk to many artists throughout his youth who inspired him to keep going with his music and creative endeavors.

The Julian Rose project has been a lifetime in the making but, over the last few years, it also became Julian’s lifeline. “I was feeling very unhappy and felt like the future was hopeless. I was stuck in the monotony of life,” he says about the moment he felt he needed to throw himself into making music full time. “However, I always knew that music was the one thing that had been there for me. So, instead of relying on other people, I decided to rely on the thing that carried me through all the ups and downs of my childhood.”
The EP’s three tracks — “How Deep,” “Movin On” and “Her Majesty” — demonstrate Julian’s eclectic and genre-defying sound. Seamlessly blending elements of classic rock, soul, funk, hip-hop and pop, the music is timeless and refreshing all at once. Constantly challenging the expectation that an artist must remain in one singular genre, he ruthlessly colors outside of the lines, carving his own musical path every step of the way.

LOST SOCIETY – All Your Worst Fears
Only two years after their incredibly successful latest album ‘No Absolution‘, Finnish modern metal squad Lost Society have come back ferociously with the first single from their upcoming manifesto ‘If The Sky Came Down‘, set to be released on September 30th via Nuclear Blast.
Front man Samy Elbanna shares some insights: ”The upcoming album is a portrayal of how you see the world after you have come to terms with the fact that all hope has been lost. A world where all your insecurities and worst fears come to life.
It’s my story, and ‘112’ is where it all begins. It’s the moment you realise your life has started to unravel and you can finally be fully honest with yourself and admit: you’re not okay. There’s something incredibly purifying and serene about letting go, and finally starting to build something new. Since writing the lyrics and chorus to this song, it was clear that this was the first song people have to hear from the album.”
He continues:
“During the recording of the album, I had compiled a few different music video ideas that I really wanted to do for the album – and the synopsis that I had for ‘112’ was just something we knew we HAD to do.
The AMAZING Vita Pictura team immediately grabbed the idea and supercharged it, and I think together we made something absolutely magical.
The music video depicts the whole theme of the album, and in particular the feeling talked about on the track itself. Going through a period in time where you feel as though you keep waking up in the exact same time, same place and same emotion without any help. You try to mess with your own “hell loop” but you just keep falling down and finding yourself back where you started.”

Echo Beach – Realising Their Potential
Manchester’s Echo Beach, are back with stunning new single, “Am I Dreaming?”: a huge synth-driven anthem that really marks a step up for this exciting new band!
The single, produced by renowned producer Gavin Monaghan at Magic Garden Studios, follows on from the success of their debut single ‘Sea of Glass’; which saw the band receive acclaim from Jim Salveson, Shell Zenner at XS Manchester and Charlie Ashcroft at Amazing Radio.
Talking about the track, lead singer Matt Hanson said: “During lockdown I was having some pretty crazy dreams, that didn’t exactly make a lot of sense but at the time everything seemed really intense, and I wanted to capture that in a song.”
Hanson certainly manages to do this as the track opens with a thumping rhythm, expertly orchestrated by drummer Danny Pash, complemented by an effortlessly smooth riff that dances across the opening bars of the track. Hanson’s vocals thunder in to bring the track to its rapturous crescendo with the choruses incorporating beautiful strings that add a cinematic flourish to the huge sound producer Monaghan has crafted. The track finishes with a return to that driving rhythm as Hanson repeats his final battle cry of “I will never let you go…”, rounding off a magnificent piece of work that is ready-made for the live audience.
ECHO BEACH – “AM I DREAMING?” – OUT NOW.
The collaboration with the highly selective producer Monaghan, whose previous clients include Robert Plant, Editors and the Blinders, has allowed the band to further realise the potential their earlier releases had shown:
“Working with Gavin has taken our music to the next level. Working with a producer at the top of their game makes such a massive difference” remarks Hanson. We loved the whole vibe of Magic Garden studio, when we walked in Gavin had the fire on, it was proper laid back and the perfect space to be creative in.”
The synth-pop outfit formed in Leeds a year ago, rising from the ashes of previous band, Paradas. Having begun to forge a reputation in the city, supporting the likes of Red Rum Club, it came as a surprise to both Hanson and Pash that they would have to start again. But creative differences led to them leaving Paradas and embarking on a new project, one much closer to their heart, taking inspiration from indie rock icons, Last Shadow Puppets, Miles Kane and Johnny Marr.
And following their debut release last year, they present “Am I Dreaming?” an energetic, brilliant single from a band still in its infancy but with a very bright future ahead of them.
Launder – A Beast Of A Debut
After nearly three years, sixty demos and signing to Ghostly, Launder‘s full-length debut is Happening, and it lands on 15th July 2022. Pre-order here.
Today he shares newest single ‘Become’ where French artist Soko takes lead vocal duties. Her mesmeric vocals move listeners into a trance between interwoven basslines and gauzy guitars, both shimmering and shattered. The song came to life out of a casual session with friends Jackson Phillips (Day Wave), Zachary Cole Smith (DIIV), and of course, Soko.
“This is the most collaborative track on the record,” notes Launder’s John Cudlip. “I couldn’t have made this song what it is by myself.”
Soko reveals, “’Become’ is about being stuck in situations where you know you deserve better, but it still drags you down. And you know deep down that to become your best self you have to break through thick layers of detangling old patterns and live with intention. Become the majestic lion you know you are… It’s also about the duality of anxiety: being stuck between feeling small and wanting to break free.”
Listen to ‘Become (Feat. Soko)’ HERE
The past few years Cudlip has fully immersed himself into writing and arranging an overflow of ideas. While embracing sobriety, he redirected his once-destructive addictive tendencies into studio craft — all his thoughts and resources lobbed into gear, every lyric, buzz, hiss, and hum of this record became his entire world.
The result sprawls across a double LP release; it’s a considered beast of a debut and he’s proud of it, living with it, finally. Through its thirteen songs, Happening is timeless, grappling with something bigger than just melody, the cathartic and the tender, indebted to indie rock greats while informed by modern and prudent self-reflection.
To record the album, Cudlip and collaborators — including Chase Meier (bass), Bryan DeLeon (drums), Nathan Hawelu (lead guitar), French artist Soko (who takes the lead vocal duties on “Become”) — joined co-producer, engineer, and mixer Sonny DiPerri (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, DIIV) at New Monkey Studio, the vintage analog/modern digital recording studio in Van Nuys, CA once owned by Elliott Smith.
Where debuts often feel full of rough-hewn potential, Launder has crafted a deeply honed collection that is happening right now. A process-oriented album, the work of a person maturing with their art, the sound of a songwriter pushing through their limits with thrilling and anthemic outcomes.
