KING CALAWAY – An Inspired Sound
KING CALAWAY RELEASES VIVACIOUS NEW TRACK “I’M FEELIN’ GOOD (STEVE MILLER BAND),” PRODUCED BY ZAC BROWN, AVAILABLE NOW.
“One of Country music’s fastest rising bands” (The Late Late Show with James Corden), King Calaway releases their vivaciously fun new track “I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band).
“‘I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band)’ is a song you can’t help but groove and dance to,” shares King Calaway. “It’s one of our favorites to play live because the crowd’s energy and reaction to it is just unmatched. We had a great time laying it down in the studio and experimenting with some Steve Miller inspired sounds.”
Just days before front man Steve Miller’s birthday, the energetic new song – produced by founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning group Zac Brown Band, Zac Brown – is an ode to Steve Miller Band’s iconic anthems.
“With a drink in my hand, singing “rockin’ me baby,” the tribute transports you back to the best times, the best memories, and the best soundtrack for making more of both.
Due to high demand and a boisterous audience response during their lives sets this summer, “I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band)” will release just in time for the band’s US Autumn tour dates, where they will join the multi-platinum Grammy-nominated Blanco Brown on his Monster Energy Tour as well as Country hitmaker Dustin Lynch on select dates of his Party Mode Tour.
I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band)” follows their “star making release” (Billboard) “When I Get Home,” co-written and also produced by Zac Brown.
Prior to the band’s performance with Brown at Nissan Stadium during this year’s CMA Fest, Zac Brown exclusively told People: “I recognized the talent this young group has and when we started working in the studio so much more unfolded, and I believe in these guys…Lots to come from King Calaway.”
Named one of the seven new Country acts to watch out for by Billboard, King Calaway recorded their Steve Miller ode – written by Wendell Mobley, Chris Stevens, Neil Thrasher – at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studio in Nashville, and it is just the second taste of even more Zac Brown-produced new music coming soon.
Jordan Harvey – Taking A Leap Of Faith
Rising Country artist Jordan Harvey delivers another heartfelt tune with “I Will” via BBR Music Group / Broken Bow Records.
Bursting with his infectious positivity and unique vocals, the song is a plea that “if he won’t, I will.” Fusing his never-ending charm and natural charisma with ear-candy melodies, “I Will” leaves the listener begging for the girl to take this guy up on his offer.
“‘I Will’ is the first song that I wrote as a solo artist,” shares Harvey. “Not only is it a story that many people can relate to, it’s also one that hits close to home. I am very proud of this song, and I hope y’all love it as much as I do.”
Written by Harvey with Jason Massey and Travis Wood, “I Will” follows Harvey’s viral solo debut track “Alabama Girl” that served “as the Scottish singer-songwriter’s introduction into the Country music genre after receiving endless praise from his popular teaser on TikTok. He’s captured the hearts of millions of fans with this song…” (Country Now).
Intending to do the same with his brand new single, “I Will” – produced by Kevin Bard and Jason Massey – is out now.
Growing up in rural, blue-collar Scotland, experiencing the Scottish version of the lifestyle represented in most Country songs, Jordan Harvey lived and breathed Country music, dreaming about one day commanding a stage. Taking a leap of faith, believing he could make his dream a reality, Harvey moved across the pond and began immediately cutting his teeth playing the graveyard shift at some of Nashville’s most popular honky tonks. Eventually joining the band King Calaway, he gained invaluable experience opening for icon Garth Brooks and performing on national TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James Corden, TODAY, The Kelly Clarkson Show and the internationally acclaimed show Neighbours. Knowing it was time to strike out on his own, the Caledonian Cowboy just made his solo debut with the deeply personal, incredibly catchy “Alabama Girl” that sent him viral on TikTok. Next up, the multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, guitar) will channel his natural charisma, never-ending charm and immeasurable stage presence into his upcoming tour dates and his just released heartfelt tune “I Will.”
Steve Hewitt – Wearing His Heart On His Sleeve
Steve Hewitt has a long-standing reputation of producing music from the heart, unafraid to deliver soul bearing lyrically honesty.
He maintains this tradition with the release of his new single entitled Fly. A beautifully simple structured creation that emanates with Country overtones and carried by Hewitt’s distinctive vocal tone and emotive delivery.
The self-proclaimed ‘Americana with English roots’ artist hails from Kent (UK). Raised on an eclectic mix of genres, Steve is noted for drawing upon a pool of influences from traditional folk-roots through to modern pop rock. As a cult-following musical maverick, he remains artistically comfortable with never fitting in perfectly within any specific stylistic category. It’s this cross-genre appeal of his music that has seen him to open stages for a diverse range of artists such as Newton Faulkner, Jenn Bostic, Emma Stevens, Toploader, Ronan Keating, Jaz Ellington plus many more. As a seasoned live performer, Steve has built his stellar reputation through persistent gigging and appearances at major events such as Black Deer Festival and Car Fest along with various community festivals around the UK. The launch of his 2019 debut album Bigger Than Words received accolades from several national music magazines and propelled Steve’s music to be aired on independent radio stations around the globe. With momentum naturally affected by the Covid-19 lock downs, Steve sought to complete material for his crowd-funded sophomore album. As a gift to dedicated fans and followers, Fly is the second in a trilogy of single releases whilst work is underway with his long-awaited ‘Never Two Days the Same’ LP.
New single ‘Fly’ was roused by Steve’s inner struggles of pursuing his own creative ambitions but feeling held back by challenging events, commitments and life decisions. A profound conversation with an old friend thousands of miles away triggered the metaphorical hook line ‘It’s hard having wings and not being able to fly’. A moment of inspiration was sparked, and the creative process began. Hewitt has always been a writer of earnestness, authenticity and relatable themes. Deeply engrained in his song craft is his capacity to openly wear his heart on his sleeve.
Produced by fellow British songwriter James Kirby; an internationally touring and award-winning performer in his own right, – Fly by Steve Hewitt was released independently on 7th October 2022 and available on digital platforms.

Cage Willis – Hometown Boy
Southern rock artist Cage Willis has released his official music video for single “Home To You.”
The video was filmed by Ian Davis (Ian Davis Media) and produced by Cage Willis.
“I want to be as genuine as possible, with that in mind, “Home To You” was filmed entirely in my hometown. Starring a local couple and featuring places around Wabash County, I hope to really represent the little things we love about where we live," says Willis. He adds, “ It's a day in the life of a midwest workin' man.”
During the summer of 2017, Cage crossed paths with drummer Cameron Allen. Jamming on the likes of Gary Clark Jr., Chris Stapleton, and The Marcus King Band, the two knew that they wanted to continue to play together. They first performed in early 2019 as a two piece at a “Battle of the Bands” in Evansville, IN. Bass Guitarist Andrew Logan joined Cage and Cameron at the beginning of 2020. GAUPA – Feel The Darkness
GAUPA are pleased to share the third single from their forthcoming album, Myriad, which will be released on November 18, 2022, via Nuclear Blast Records.
Hauntingly atmospheric tune ‘Moloken‘ emerges disguised as an innocent ballad, before it ultimately reveals its dark, heavy core. This is GAUPA at their most introverted, striking in their unpredictability, yet they always find the right moment to let loose and simply let the guitars do the talking.
GAUPA‘s sophomore album Myriad features eight diverse and exquisitely crafted songs that fluctuate between progressive rock, psychedelic and stoner rock, doom and folk. An eclectic and unpredictable, yet very mature record by a band that is destined to win over any open-minded music enthusiast from each branch the heavy rock spectrum has to offer.

Emma Näslund (vocals) comments:
“Moloken is a Swedish word that according to Google translate means “the moloch”. Whether this is true, I can’t tell you. It comes down to the concept of Swedish melancholy – to be downcast or to feel small.
This is a highly Swedish thing and I would say it peaks in November when the fire leaves have fallen and the trees are naked, patiently awaiting their winter coat of frost and snow. This is when you really start to feel the darkness. It seeps into every inch of your being. I think this feeling is captured in this song, which is not really a happy go lucky tune. Whether it comes from you, the world, a strung out relationship or just the weather isn’t really important. There is just this feeling. But as soon as the snow sets, the sky lightens and another wave of hope enters.”
With surreal lyrics, an energetic, very unique singer, and an addictive sound that combines progressive stoner rock with doom, folk and psychedelic rock influences, GAUPA released their self-titled debut EP in June 2018 and have since made a name for themselves in the international underground rock scene. The GAUPA EP was well received and led to the band playing one of their first live performances at Scandinavia’s biggest rock festival, Sweden Rock. Releasing the EP on vinyl via Kozmik Artifactz in October 2019, the band and went on to play a solid number of shows and festivals. Critics were impressed, not only by the studio recordings and their diverse and complex arrangements, but also by the level of intensity the band displayed live.
In April 2020 GAUPA, which means “lynx” in Swedish, followed up their debut EP by releasing their first full length album, Feberdröm. In 2021, GAUPA re-entered the studio to record their second full-length album Myriad, which will be released on November 18th 2022.

Kaya Stewart – Just Being Herself
Alt-pop songstress Kaya Stewart has today released ‘If Things Go South’, her second full-length album, via Bay Street Records.
The ten song set chronicles her self-actualisation as an artist along with the aches and pains of growing up, doubt, heartbreak and mental health. Influenced by the likes of Alanis Morissette and Debbie Harry, she has uncorked a hypnotic and hard-hitting sound of her own with full creative control and complete independence. “This record is 100% who I am now,” she declares. “This is the Kaya I was working towards all along.”
American Songwriter have raved about the album’s lead single, ‘Honey’, stating that “it unleashes desires, vulnerabilities…and the palpable realities of finding yourself while with another,” while Teen Vogue declared “the in-your-face thumping anthem should be done justice by being blasted at full volume — that way, you’re able to simultaneously headbang and take in all of Kaya’s full-bodied vocals.”
Born in London but raised in Los Angeles, Kaya’s musical career began in her mid-teens with a self-titled debut album on Warners. Now 22, she arrives fully formed with a scorching signature style. ‘If Things Go South’ is tied together with powerful vocals utilising pop-punk attitude, intimate Americana-tinged storytelling and infectious danceable grooves. Co-written and co-produced with her father, Dave Stewart, it is Kaya at her most authentic and expressive self. The album is also set to have a candid and self-narrated companion performance film detailing her most personal thoughts, further details of which will be announced shortly.
Prior to making the record, and in the middle of the 2020 pandemic, Kaya was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder, which turned out to be the catalyst to write this collection of songs. “It was the weirdest time of my life, because I had this life-changing diagnosis that explained so much for me,” she admits. “I wasn’t planning on making a record and was actually thinking of taking a break for a little while. I called my dad, and he said, ‘Why don’t you just come to Nashville and write a couple of songs?’ By the time I left, we had ‘If Things Go South’. I was able to be myself in the studio. The album is the most honest thing I’ve ever done.”
‘If Things Go South’ arrives following the rapid fire release of the singles ‘Honey’, ’Til I Fixed It’ and ‘Hope You’re Happy’.

BLUE VIOLET – Expanding Their Universe
BLUE VIOLET RETURN WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE: “FAVOURITE JEANS”.
BLUE VIOLET are back with news of a new EP, single and a spread of Scottish tour dates this Autumn.
Directly following their debut album ‘Late Night Calls’ (released in the Spring of 2022), the band have been busily working towards its successor in the shape of a new EP entitled: ‘Love, Hate & Forgiveness’. Confirmed for release on 21st October, the four track release will feature two acoustic reworkings of ‘Late Night Calls’ classics, plus two brand new offerings including the new single “Favourite Jeans” which is available to hear now.
While described by Blue Violet as “a continuation of themes, both sonically and lyrically, that we explored on our debut album”, the songs of the ‘Love, Hate & Forgiveness’ EP mark a distinctly different writing chapter for the duo. Whereas the songs heard on their debut album ‘Late Night Calls’ date back to a prolific month-long session in 2019 with producer Rob Ellis (Anna Calvi, Marianne Faithful, PJ Harvey) at Devon’s Middle Farm Studios; their upcoming material is a glimpse of how the pair spent the inescapable lockdown of the following year.
“For all of the chaos and hardships that Covid brought to the world it also provide ample time for people to be creative” reflects singer Sarah Gotley of the ‘Love, Hate & Forgiveness’ EP. “So although we only released our debut album in April this year we wanted to bring out some of the music that we’d been working on in that time”.
BLUE VIOLET – ‘LOVE, HATE, & FORGIVENESS’
EP TRACKLISTING
Favourite Jeans
Love, Hate & Forgiveness
Halo (Acoustic)
Rabbit Hole (Acoustic)
Songs of social distancing and hand-sanitising, these are thankfully not. Instead the duo used the time as an opportunity to step away from the humdrum of the everyday and into the imaginative, character-driven worlds Blue Violet so capably envision. The material of ‘Love, Hate & Forgiveness’ EP is the first to emerge from these sessions and finds them expanding their universe.
Featured single “Favourite Jeans” is a strung-out alternative/acoustic ballad and one that broadly picks up the narrative of previous single “Rabbit Hole” (an acoustic version of which is also featured on this new EP). Yet, whereas “Rabbit Hole” captures the dilemma of someone who finds themselves estranged from their loved ones and struggling with addiction issues; “Favourite Jeans” writes-in a redemptive coda as the protagonist picks up the pieces on the long road to recovery.
“It’s about having the courage to pick yourself up after a hard time and the little things you do to find happiness again” Sarah says.

Elsewhere “Love, Hate & Forgiveness” gives the new EP its name; a brittle track that deftly captures with the obsession and desperation that a so all-consuming in the aftermath of a bitter break-up, with Sarah gracefully vocalsing the “internal turmoil that presents itself when it all goes a bit wrong”.
With echoes of the brittle acoustica of Beth Orton to the melancholia of Mazzy Star, the new material was produced by the esteemed Patrick James Pearson (who also played keys on the band’s debut album). The EP also features stripped-back, acoustic versions of “Rabbit Hole” and “Halo”, both of which were recorded live with Blue Violet’s full live band over the summer.
With plans already afoot to take their new material out on the road, Blue Violet will be hooking-up with previous touring pals Tide Lines for a coast to coast tour of Scotland from 15th September to 15th October. Hinting what to expect from the shows
Sarah adds:
“We toured with Tide Lines last winter and it’s really nice of them to have us along again… We’re opening up for them acoustically as a duo and it felt like a cool idea to explore that side of things in the studio by basing a couple of recordings around the acoustic guitar rather than do another full band scale production.”
Four pared-back and poignant tracks that let Blue Violet’s songwriting partnership shine, the ‘Love, Hate & Forgiveness’ EP is released on 21st October 2022, via Me & My Records.

KLÔ PELGAG – A Breath Of Fresh Air
KLÔ PELGAG RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “À L’OMBRE DES CYPRÈS”
Compelling singer-songwriter Klô Pelgag reveals a compelling new video for her single “À l’ombre des cyprès”, ahead of her first ever London headline show this October.
After releasing her debut album in 2013, Klô Pelgag has taken the francophone music scene by storm, arriving like an enigmatic breath of fresh air and becoming one of the most unique songwriters of her generation.
Her third and most recent LP, ‘Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs’, tells a story of a journey that, while suffocating and painful at times, is ultimately an empowering and liberating experience. A boundless musical universe, the album is quite possibly Klô Pelgag’s most transparent and personal to date.
Continuing the ‘Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs’ journey, she has now unveiled a fascinating new video for album track “À l’ombre des cyprès.
The video releases comes as Klô gears up for her first ever show on UK soil this Autumn. Heading to London’s Lexington on 11 October, she will be playing tracks from the “simultaneously subversive and unique project” (Rolling Stone France) live for audiences.
Since the record’s release in 2020, Pelgag has won an award at the JUNOs, been shortlisted for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize and become the first French-speaking artist to have a record reviewed by influential American journalist Anthony Fantano on his YouTube channel The Needle Drop.
In France Télérama gave the record its highest rating (four keys, the equivalent of five stats), while FrancoFan and Longeur d’ondes hailed the originality of the artist and the emotional power of the record, with the latter commending: “Wise violins and crazy piano coexist in a heady, harmonic, Kate Bushian albu, which features very original vocals as always.”
Joined on stage by her band Étienne Dupré (bass), François Zaïdan (keyboard, bass, guitar), Pete Pételle (drums) and Virginie Reid (keyboard), Pelgag’s delicately crafted melodies and poetic lyrics are bound to charm and move her audience, altering reality and leaving onlookers with their jaws on the floor.

The band have previously shared two blistering and dramatic new tracks taken from their upcoming debut album, PAST LIVES, due November 11th, 2022 via Fantasy Records.
L.S. DUNES super-charge their heavy anthems with punk energy into a sound unlike anything that has come before it. From the gripping, theatrical opener “2022,” and the crunchy, frenetic earworm “Like Forever,” to the pummeling, expansive “Permanent Rebellion,” and the disarming album closer, “Sleep Cult,” Past Lives is an electrifying and emotional ride.
Past Lives was produced by Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Quicksand) and recorded at his Studio 4 Recording in Philadelphia, PA. Going deep on issues of fearlessness, dependency, nonconformity, and impermanence, writing for the album was a collaborative effort.
After the shock of the pandemic shutdown, the close friends and mutual admirers urgently realised that “tomorrow” is not promised. “We never knew if we would ever get to play these songs together; in fact none of us lifelong musicians really knew if we’d ever be able to play music for a live audience ever again,” Iero recounts. “‘Permanent Rebellion’ is about taking back what is rightfully yours.”
Rule adds, “We wanted to do something where you can hear all our bands in it and yet, not have it sound like any one in particular. Our roots are punk rock and hardcore, and the vibe is hope for all the lost souls.”
Original, aggressive, and intense, L.S. DUNES is the next great leap in rock’s grand evolution.
