Amigo The Devil (aka Danny Kiranos) commences a highly anticipated UK tour on 28th March to promote his acclaimed 2021 album ‘Born Against’,with all shows already sold out or close to it. Support comes from Katacombs, who recently released her debut EP on Kiranos’ Liars Club Records label.
As previously announced, ATD dates in RoI, Northern Ireland and mainland Europe are being rescheduled and will be published in due course.

Renowned for his macabre storytelling, ATD/Kiranos’ 2021 album ‘Born Against’ saw him expand his repertoire with romantic, philosophical and emotional narratives without sacrificing the genre-bending style that had already earned him reams of praise and a passionate following. Harnessing the world music he grew up with, plus additional inspiration from master storytellers such as Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen and contemporaries like Fiona Apple and Father John Misty, its songs are vivid, cinematic tales of flawed protagonists on the edge, desperately clinging to some sense of stability while following their heart’s chosen path.
Assisted by producer Beau Bedford (The Texas Gentlemen), ‘Born Against’ is full of beautifully haunting melodies surrounded by avant-garde soundscapes, resulting in songs that have satisfied existing fans and new listeners alike. The album is the follow up to his 2018 full-length debut, ‘Everything Is Fine’, which crossed boundaries by connecting with fans of rock, folk, Americana, country, metal and beyond.
