GRAMMYĀ® Award nominated, multi-platinum selling artist and songwriter, Tove Lo returns today with a brand-new track and official music video, titled āNo One Dies From Loveā (Pretty Swede Records/mtheory).
Co-written with long-time collaborator Ludvig Sƶderberg, neon keys illuminate a runway to the centre of the dancefloor as her voice resounds over a disco break, āNo one dies from love, guess Iāll be the first.ā The song signifies a new and exciting chapter for the Sweden-born, Los Angeles-based artist.
Tove recalls on making the song, āwhen youāre with someone for a long time and it ends all of a sudden, itās like a part of you has died. This person is now a stranger to you. All of the memories are tainted. For the first part of the breakup, you believe youāre not supposed to feel good about anything you had together. What I believe I do best is āheartbreak you can dance to.ā The song is that.ā

The video for āNo One Dies From Loveā was filmed in Mexico City and was directed by the Brazilian duo Alaska, whom Tove previously collaborated with on the video for āAre U gonna tell her?ā
Speaking about the video, Tove reveals, āAll the songs on the album are very cinematic, dramatic and grand, so for the visual story I want to attach a character to each song. For No One Dies From Love it’s the classic vulnerable, lonely starlet looking for connection. This mini movie is a different kind of love story.ā
Alongside the release of āNo One Dies From Loveā, Tove Lo has also announced a huge 2022 headline UK and European tour. Kicking off in Dublin on October 29th, the tour will see Tove perform 15 dates across Europe, including shows in London, Paris, Berlin and more. Tove will also be performing several shows and festivals across Europe this summer, including opening for Dua Lipaās Future Nostalgia Tour in Oslo, Norway, Openāer Festival in Poland, Lollapalooza Stockholm in Sweden and many more.
