Oh, look who’s back! Eradikated, the Swedish thrash-metallers, have just graced us with another fast-paced thrash banger, “Faced”.
Don’t you just love how they transport you straight back to the glory days of thrash metal? So original. Their distinct sound and powerful performance are just so versatile within their genre, it’s almost as if they’ve reinvented the wheel.
But wait, there’s more! In March 2023, they dropped their first single “Flames” from their upcoming debut album “Descendants”. And guess what? Thrash fans couldn’t get enough of it, watching the music video over 40,000 times in the first month. What an achievement. And as if that’s not enough, they landed prestigious festival shows in Europe at Gefle Metal Festival, Sweden Rock Festival, and Summer Breeze Open Air 2023. How lucky are we to witness their greatness live?
Frontman Elvin Landaeus Csizmadia claims that “Faced” is a heavy song with a “quite unique” sound. Wow, who would have thought? It’s about an internal crisis of faith inside the head of a rich and powerful protagonist. So deep. The battle of wills is supposedly reflected by the depth and variation in sounds, riffs, and vocals. How poetic.
But here’s the real kicker, folks. Eradikated is dropping their first full-length album “Descendants” on October 6th. Three singles will be released before the album, because why not? It’s produced and recorded by the band themselves in Ragnar Östberg’s studio East Hill Audio, because who needs a real producer? And then it was sent to Gustav Brunn at All In Audio, who has previously worked with acts such as Bomber, Obstruktion, and Viagra Boys (live: sessions). That’s impressive, right?
“Descendants” is a conceptual album that takes place in a near-distant apocalyptic future of anguish and rage. Wow, so original. And all the lyrics make up a coherent story, written by the front vocalist and guitarist Elvin Landaeus Csizmadia. Who knew they were such master storytellers?
Overall, Eradikated has truly outdone themselves. Their musical versatility and unique sound within their genre are just mind-blowing. We can’t wait to see what other groundbreaking innovations they come up with in the future.
