BBC MUSIC INTRODUCINGā¦MILLIE TURNER, DYLAN AND APRIL AT LEXINGTON, LONDON
For one special night this April, Londonās Lexington plays host to BBC Music Introducing, welcoming three new artists breaking through in their field. The night will see three top talents perform, with Millie Turner, DYLAN and April set to play.
MILLIE TURNER
Some people seem destined to create art and use their talent to improve the world, others simply fall into it. For 17-year-old Millie Turner, the reality is somewhere between. Having been born into a family of artists, the cosmic wheels had been set in motion from the very beginning. A painting father, an art school teacher as a mother ā all roads seemed to lead toward working in something creative. As to ending up as a musician though? That all seemed to happen by chance. Call it chance, call it destiny ā Millie Turner is piecing together a colourful world one song at a time.

DYLAN
A self-proclaimed, out-and-proud āindie f*ckā with the voice of a bruised, toughened angel. A chipped-nail-varnish kinda girl, and āquite a boyish girl. Youāll never catch me in a skirt.ā A 19-year-old singer-songwriter who began her first writing and recording sessions barely a year ago, in the Easter holidays when she should have been revising for her A-levels.
A woman with ambition: āI want to be heard by as many people as possible, because I want to go global, because I want to speak to as many girls as possible ā and boys. They need to hear this too! Letās all be empowered by a sad song and connect with it. I want to spark real, human emotion. Everyone is connected through music, right? Or, they should be.ā
