This concert is a musical expression of the close-knit relationship between two art forms that have in common the power of emotionally charged dreams and between two artists, who besides their family ties share the same passion for cinema and music.
Clint Eastwood the actor and director: the nameless taciturn man in a green poncho, smoking a cigar, in the Italian Dollar Trilogy, Harry Callahan, the solitary and expeditious 1970’s San Francisco Inspector. The virtuoso film director, who tirelessly questions the myth of the American hero and our social order through various genres. Today, Clint Eastwood, at 91, has just produced his 39th film: Cry Macho.
With Kyle’s album Cinematic, Kyle Eastwood, the double bass jazz musician and leader of his own quintet, had already released a vibrant tribute to his two life passions, instilling his creativity, sensitivity and jubilation to original soundtracks that have since become classics. Both as an actor and musician, Kyle has always been passionately in love with what he does: “Clint and I have always had a beautiful working relationship“.
