Down For Life Music is proud to present the New Blood Tour 2024.
The naughty kid in school of tours. It’s heavier, faster and feistier.
Following the huge success of last years’ New Blood Tour, which saw Two Year Break, Lightwave, Crushed By Waves and Royals tear it up at venues across the country, the Down For Life Music New Blood Tour is back for a second instalment in 2024! Eight locations up and down the length of England will get to experience the best of what the Down For Life Music roster has to offer.
Headlining the 2024 round of the DFLM New Blood Tour are Birmingham nu-metalcore mob Chuggaboom. Hailed for their energy filled live shows that bring metal with a dash of tongue-in-cheek to the masses, Chuggaboom cannot wait to be the main event of this metal party.
Alongside Chuggaboom on this tour are three bands, all capable of being highlight of the night in their own rights. Northern metalcore upstarts Waterlines have developed a fearsome live reputation, wow’ing crowds at shows and festivals all over the country, most notably headlining the Jagermeister Stage at Bloodstock Festival 2023. For a dose of how Waterlines will blow your heads off, check out newest single BRACE. below:
Chuggaboom’s fellow Birmingham natives Overthrone are also onboard to bring their brand of modern influenced metalcore to the 2024 Down For Life Music New Blood Tour. Their most recent album The Path of Destruction has racked up over a million streams on Spotify, so this is a fantastic chance to see them do their thing in the flesh in some very intimate venues.
Kicking things off on the Down For Life Music New Blood Tour in 2024 are the recently reborn Welsh metalcore quartet When We Were Wolves. Currently undertaking their first live shows in seven years alongside another Down For Life band, Crushed By Waves, When We Were Wolves’ comeback has been extremely well received, especially their first new single since their return, Hate Yourself!
The Down For Life Music New Blood Tour 2024 kicks off on the 25th of October in Birmingham with a hometown show for Chuggaboom and Overthrone and takes in some of the UK’s finest small venues. These include a Halloween show in The Junction in Plymouth and a stop at Cambridge’s newest metal location The Six Six. The full list of shows can be found below:
