Neighbours actor and Americana musician Alan Fletcher, best known for his role as Dr. Karl Kennedy, continues to showcase his talent as an all-round entertainer with the release of his new single, ‘For The Love of Lager‘, as he prepares to hit the pub with fans all over the UK & Ireland on tour next month.
‘For The Love of Lager’ – a playful ode to the favourite drink of Aussies and Brits alike, combining Fletcher’s love for lager and his comedic skills – showcases his versatility as an artist, following the release of his acclaimed debut solo album The Point last year.
Alan’s upcoming 19-date tour is set to kick off at The Bedford, London on July 11, culminating in one of his first UK festival appearances at Kendal Calling alongside Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paolo Nutini and Craig Charles (Aug 3). Support on all headline shows comes from Riley Catherall.
Fans across the country will have the chance to experience an unforgettable night of music and laughter, with mix of Fletcher’s original songs, the occasional country cover, and of course, ‘For The Love of Lager’, which already proved popular with fans last time he was in the UK.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now, and fans are encouraged to secure their spots early. Commenting on the release of his new single and upcoming tour, Fletcher expressed his excitement, saying, “My 2023 tour of the UK was a sensational success. Fans of Neighbours have become fans of my music as well and the 2024 tour is selling heavily in some parts of the country and selling out in others. I premiered ‘For The Love of Lager’ last year and it killed with audiences. Can’t wait to get it out in the world.”
‘For The Love of Lager’ is now available on all major streaming platforms. For tickets and more information about Alan Fletcher’s UK tour, visit his official website at https://alanfletchermusic.com.
