Delivering âcommercial polish and good-natured, honest storytellingâ (Tennessean), rising country duo Ryan and Rory – named a SiriusXM 2024 âHighway Findâ – released the tender and nostalgic ‘Heavenâs Got A Country Station‘, ahead of their Grand Ole Opry debut (7/12).

“Iâve dreamed of playing the Grand Ole Opry my entire life,” says Rory John Zak. âItâs more than a dream come true though. Itâs an honor and a privilege. We are sincerely humbled to perform in ‘the circle’ for our very first time.â
ââHeavenâs Got A Country Stationâ comes from a very personal point of view,” says Ryan FollesĂ©. “Our love of country music was passed down to us from our parents, so seeing how it resonates to so many who hear their own story in it, is so rewarding. It was inspired by personal feelings but itâs turned into a surprisingly universal message we werenât expecting.â
âPoised to be a staple on countless playlists and radioâ (PopCulture), âRyan and Rory are the next heir apparent to the country duo throneâ (Country Swag). Having opened for Sam Hunt and Jamey Johnson this year, the eloquent new track speaks to losing the loved one responsible for igniting your passion for country music.
IÂ bet the signalâs clear as day where you are now
There ainât a trace of static way up in them clouds
And since you left I filled up a book of songs
âbout how I canât believe youâre gone
Maybe one of these days oneâll come on
When youâre drivinâ âround those streets of gold
in that truck you swore you shoulda never sold
favorite dog in the back bench seat
and you hear a song that sounds like me
Hope you turn it up loud as it gets
And youâre proud as hell when the last note hits
Since youâve been up there Iâve been down here prayinâ
Heavenâs got a country station
‘Heavenâs Got A Country Station’ follows the duoâs self-titled debut EP that was released earlier this year to critical acclaim. Featuring the lively smash ‘Pour Decisions‘, the fan favourite was praised by Country Now as a âcatchy, post-heartbreak summertime anthem,â by Country Swag as âthe perfect combination of enticing production and fun, sing-along ready lyricsâ and by MusicRow as âdrawling, drowsy, boozy, Southern and loping. Relax and ride along.â
With more music on the way, Ryan and Rory are in the studio writing and recording for an upcoming project to release in 2025.Â
