Three years after their debut album, the Spanish band Battosai will release ‘Lágrimas y Milagros’ (2024, Spinda Records) on Thursday, October 31.
This new studio album features 12 songs, including the singles “Estrellas”, “Milagro”, and “Nunca es suficiente”.
This album showcases a journey through alternative rock, post-hardcore, shoegaze, punk rock, and even Midwest emo. It was produced by the band themselves alongside Santi García, who also handled the recording and mixing at Ultramarinos Costa Brava (except for the vocals, recorded by Iago Lorenzo at La casa de Goyo) and was mastered by Víctor García at Ultramarinos Mastering.

“Lágrimas y Milagros has a darker and more visceral aura than our debut album […] It comes after a period of personal crisis […] We had to closely examine our wounds and use that pain to transform it into music, allowing us to heal and move forward. It was about embracing vulnerability without hiding it; embracing anger without holding it back.”

‘Lágrimas y Milagros’, featuring artwork by Miguel Duarte, will be released by Spinda Records on October 31 as part of their ‘Noisy Series’ (alongside bands like Fin del Mundo, Adelaida, and Las Nubes). The album will be available on all digital platforms, as well as in limited edition CD and marbled white vinyl formats.
‘Lágrimas y Milagros’ live shows
On October 31, Battosai will perform their new studio album live at home, in an intimate acoustic show at O Transistor in Bertamiráns (Ames, A Coruña). This will be followed by two concerts with Viva Belgrado in A Coruña and Vigo, and the official presentation of ‘Lágrimas y Milagros’ in Santiago de Compostela. In February, they will kick off their national tour, which is set to include stops in Oviedo, Madrid, Valencia, and La Línea de la Concepción.
