Fast-rising Cambridgeshire indie duo Collars release brand new single ‘Rabbit Heart‘ digitally this month.
Out on Friday 29 July, ‘Rabbit Heart’ is the second single to come from Collars’ debut album, which follows later this year via the band’s own label, Laundry Rooms.
It’s a gutsy song about falling for someone flighty and trying to keep a hold of them. Featuring big, resounding Fleetwood Mac-style drums, which drive the track through a delicate verse into an anthemic chorus. It also features harmonies from fellow Cambridgeshire musician and Laundry Rooms artist Mark Stevens.
The new material is a departure from EP1 – a much bigger, more mature sound that’s informed by poppier elements in parts and more punk leanings in others.
The artwork for ‘Rabbit Heart’ was designed by Belfast-based artist Grace Fairley. A DIY Muppets-esque video (pictured above) that was created by the band will also drop on 29 July.
