Long serving Southampton urban artist Emotive Concept is set to release his hotly anticipated second album ‘Romeo Sierra’ this month.
The album takes you on a journey through 15 incredibly personal and poignant tracks from the much respected artist.
Drawing inspiration lyrically from his own life events and mental health, Emotive Concept also talks candidly about themes such as female personification, the cost of living and alcohol addiction.
Speaking of the album he says ‘With some upbeat tracks to break up the deep and emotional impacts, I truly feel people will resonate with this.’
The album is a testament not only to the artist’s talent as a rapper but also his unique blend of writing. Emotive Concept is a modern day poet and his words speak for his generation.
Emotive Concept has been a regular face on the urban scene over the years and has performed at a number of festivals including Music in The City, Party in the Park and Victorious Festival.
He has shared the stage with Charley Stride, Forbes and Triggz and was most recently seen with Eksman at Next Hype DNB event.
His tracks have been heard on local radio and entered Voice FMs ‘South Coast Music Chart’ as well as appearing on Code Red Radio and SkankOut.
