The Blow Monkeys have announced a very special âCareer Retrospectiveâ concert at the prestigious Cadogan Hall on Thursday 5th December 2024.
In a setting usually reserved for such luminaries as The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra or masterworks such as Handel’s ‘Messiah’, Dr. Robert and the band will showcase over 40 years of music. 25 albums – both band and solo – that stretch from their first âindieâ single in 1981 all the way throughto the latest album âTogether Alone’ (2024).

Dr. Robert says âDown the years it has been an honour to work with some very special musicians. The late great Curtis Mayfield was like a mentor to the band and weâve carried on that tradition of collaboration all along the journey..working with artists such as Cheb Khaled, Kym Mazelle, Paul Weller, Rhoda Dakar, Peter Capaldi , PP Arnold and even Eek-A-Mouse! You just never know who might turn up on the night!â
