Jembaa Groove was formed in 2020 by band leaders Eric Owusu and Yannick Nolting.
Eric Owusu had worked with Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas and Orlando Julius previously and Jembaa Groove quickly became a melting pot of music from West African Highlife to American Soul, Jazz & Blues.
The debut album Susuma’(Agogo Records) came out in 2021 to widespread acclaim with latest single Sweet My Ear, a collaboration with K.O.G.
