Prolific storyteller and multi-Platinum Curb Records recording artist, Lee Brice, has released his latest single, ‘Cry‘, available now, following a world exclusive first play for the “wonderful record” (Bob Harris) on BBC Radio 2 yesterday.
The track, written by Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip and David Garcia, is an ode to masculine vulnerability. Rounded out by an infectious hook and retro groove that is reminiscent of the great 1950’s crooners, ‘Cry’ is a confessional anthem that shows men might act tough, but heartbreak breaks them just the same.
“I mean, come’on…sometimes you get your heart broke and you just gotta “Cry” it out. We had a great time making this one and the video was a lot of fun to shoot. We took a real light-hearted approach on the video… goofin’ around with the band and crew had me cryin’ – in a good way.” – Lee Brice
Also out today is Brice’s official music video for the track. Directed by Chase Lauer, the lighthearted video shows Brice helping a love-struck and heartbroken guy find his way back to the one that got away.
Yesterday, Brice kicked off his highly anticipated intimate acoustic tour – You, Me & My Guitar Tour (USA). Known for his incredibly relatable and poignant songwriting, Brice takes the audience behind the music as he seamlessly moves across the stage adorned with various guitars and other instruments – each one engrained with a special memory. This truly unique and engaging show takes the audience on a journey with Brice throughout his life in music as he narrates the special relationship and heartwarming stories each instrument holds and performs acoustic versions of his chart-topping hits.
