Rebounder is the project of New York City native producer and writer Dylan Chenfeld, with his brother Noah Chenfeld and their close neighborhood childhood friends Cobey Arner and Zack Kantor.
Rebounder has toured with the likes of The Neighbourhood, Phoenix, Dayglow, and Cautious Clay. Rebounder has received praise from NME, DIY, Notion, Culness, and has been played on Ezra Koenig’s Time Crisis.
If you haven’t heard of them yet, well, let’s just say you might be living under a rock. This indie outfit has been making waves in the music scene, with their infectious beats and knack for collaborations.
Their recent team-up with Jesse Rutherford, lead singer of The Neighbourhood, for “Change Shapes (feat. Jesse)” garnered press from all the cool kids: The FADER, Office Magazine, & Pigeons and Planes. And they didn’t waste any time bringing the house down with their debut performance of the track at a Halloween party in the Big Apple.
But that’s not all. Rebounder has been busy modeling for Corridor’s menswear campaign, providing the perfect soundtrack with their track “Slow Angel”. And if you’re a Shameless fan, you might have caught their earworm “Night Sports” in an episode.
These guys are no strangers to the road, having supported the likes of Joy Again, MUNA, Twin Shadow, How Long Gone / Chris Black, Dayglow, and of course, The Neighbourhood. And they just wrapped up a full North American tour with Last Dinosaurs. Talk about stamina.
With over 12 million streams on their debut track “Japanese Posters”, it’s safe to say that Rebounder has hit a nerve with listeners. And their single “Boy Friday”, self-produced and written, was given the royal treatment with a slick video directed by Sundance 2022 winner Ben Klein. Critics praised it left and right, from Ones to Watch to Ladygunn to Earmilk.
But they’re not resting on their laurels. Rebounder has just released “Factoury Girl”, the lead single from their upcoming EP Sundress Songs. This self-produced banger is dedicated to the tireless dreamers out there, and it’s got Wonderland Magazine hooked with its “transfixing hooks and Rebounder’s deft guitar lines.”
And as if that’s not enough, they’ve got a brand new single out called “Dreamland”. Frontman Dylan Chenfeld explains that it’s about wanting to escape, only to realize that maybe where you are is where you’re meant to be. Who knew existential crises could sound so catchy?
