One of Liverpool’s most prolific & revered modern songwriters, Robert Vincent has today announced the release date for his forthcoming long-player, ‘Barriers’ – released June 21st via Thirty Tigers.
Vincent also releases a third new track from the album today entitled ‘Burden’, following the previous release of two magnificent preview tracks in ‘The Insider’ and ‘Follow What You Love & Love Will Follow’.
‘Burden’ is released today via Thirty Tigers and follows the exciting news that Robert will be the special guest at three of Robert Plant’s UK Shows this spring. Vincent can be seen previewing tracks from this new album, plus some live fan favourites on April 30th in Harrogate at the Royal Hall, May 1st at the Globe Theatre in Stockton and on May 3rd at Warwick Arts Centre.

New album ‘Barriers’ showcases a broader, more ambitious sound for Robert Vincent and whilst 2020’s AMA winning album ‘In this Town You’re Owned’ was born from socio-political commentary, Vincent’s upcoming project is inspired by personal experiences, culminating in the most impressive songcraft of his career. On the new album, Vincent stated, “Barriers has more of an intimate sound. The songs began to take shape during lockdown through to 2022 and are born from testing personal experiences, rather than the pure social commentary of the last album. This is a very inward set of songs, but I think it will resonate with people facing their own demons.”
