German neo-soul and alt R&B songstress Victoryaz has a signature style that seamlessly melds contemporary hip-hop beats with an irresistible pop sensibility.
Having featured on ‘Pace’ by compatriots Ferge X Fisherman in 2021 (1M streams), the following year saw her solo debut proper with ‘BED’, which was produced by Joe Gehring (K.I.Z., Kummer, Felly, Nura).
Her brand new single, ‘Good Luck’, sees her layering harmonies over a trap-infused beat, crafting a mesmerising blend of R&B-infused pop that will ensnare listeners from its very first note.
“I actually began writing this song five years ago about the first guy I ever fell in love with, but only finished it this year,” explains Victoryaz. “I still hold a lot of what he did against him and for me this song is pure gratification, knowing that he will never find someone better than me.”
ifted from a forthcoming self-produced album, ‘Good Luck’ is testament to the confident ability of Victoryaz to merge genres, crafting a soulful and contemporary sound that evokes the spirit of artists like Jessie Reyez, Izzy Bizu and Olivia Dean.
